I won a prize on a radio station ages ago...... It was a shitty local station and they asked a question and the first person to ring in with the right answer won tickets to see Simply Red. My initial thoughts when I got through was ... "What if my friends are listening, I dont want to be heard trying to get tickets to see Simply Red" So when I got through I was told I was the winner and I'd be on air shortly.....I paniced a little and when he asked me for my name I said ....."Errr....Sarah...( which is my mums name ) The guy was in wrinkles and said he's take my details off air as he couldnt stop laughing....

I agree with you.... The thing Jose installed was if we went 1-0 it was all hands to the pumps....defend that lead with your life. Teams knew that if we got in front they were gonna find it very very hard to penetrate us and get back into the game. Thats why so many teams played to defend against us with 11 men behind the ball........at SB. Now teams are coming to SB and having a go at us, knowing we will give them more chances than before. Its more a psychological thing we had over an opponent.

My head says Man.you, but my heart says Chelsea. Even today I saw a few articles giving the top 2's run in. They are totally neglecting us as challengers and this I believe goes in our favour. When we have all our players back and fighting for places we have a very good chance of going on a good run of wins till the end of the season. Obviously this Liverpool game will have a big bearing on our chances. Its a must win game if we are to have any sort of chance of being there at the end when it matters.

Along with Mikel, other youngsters have came into sides and fitted in easily.....Messi and Pato for instance, even Anelka when he was at Arsenal. If he's good enough he will get his chance sooner rahter than later

RIP.... Watched a few programmes recently on TV.......makes it hit home the genuine effect it had on football in general. I didnt know much about it tbh, only bits and bobs. They had Harry Greg(sp?) on the other night who was the goalkeeper at the time....He was a Northern Ireland international and a top keeper. He went back to Munich and met people who helped pull some of the injured out of the plane, and he also met a girl whom he saved himself, she was pregnant at the time. He met her and her son who was born several months later after the accident. I also never knew that 3 days later ( I think) he and another player involved in the accident played in a match at Old Trafford. Must have been terrible looking round the pitch expecting to see your mates there who you knew died only a few days earlier. Very moving.
