To be fair, most of what is wrong with United is not Moyes' fault...
-
Exactly, I wish he had been given the chance instead of Ramires! Also, it is funy how someone liked your post when in the previous pages he posted only Kalas would haven been useful today...

LOOOL, TORRES!

Amazing away support!

Fuck me, how can you pay attention on who assited? MIKEL SCORED!

MIIIIKEEEELLL!

Blasphemy! How dare you undermine the FA Cup? How dare you criticize Jose Mourinho? Go away, you dont go to games. Not a true supporter!
-
LOOL, I hit a nerve again! It is funny because I always outsmart you and then you give up on arguying!

Well, yeah that makes more sense (havent thought about that). However, it is not only Kalas. If Jose is going to play Ramires on the wing, why not try Mata or Baker? And why not play Bertrand instead of Cole? Maybe he plays well and fixes pur LB problem. I know it is unlikely, but we will never be a player developer country if we never even try!
-
You dont need to be sorry. I know this is important to a lot of you and I trully respect that! However, I just think using some of our unused players wouldnt hurt... I never said we should lose because this is a mickey mouse cup or whatever. I only posted saying I wished the like of KDB, Baker, Kalas, Bertrand, etc, were in the starting lineup! Jose is only rotating about 18 players in the EPL and UCL. So I thought the FA Cup match against Derby County could be a nice opportunity to try a few new faces. That is all! I know we dont want Chelsea to have to play a second game. But using those 11 players or others makes no difference (imo). We cant know whether or not a determined team will be able to not draw. This team can end up drawing while a 'weaker' team could end up winning by 5-0. We will never know!
-
Who talked about a replay? Playing this team doesnt mean we wont draw or even lose, your logic is pathetic! For someone who defends us using our young players in the EPL, you are way too scared of Derby County! You defend that having 18 year olds playing as regular starters is 'Chelsea future'. But when the chance comes to test them (and some other stablished players), you go against it? Why? It makes absolutely no sense for you to defend that our yet unproved players should be more utilized (in order to prepare for the long term) when you dont even trust the likes of Mata, KDB, Kalas, Bertrand, etc, in a FA Cup 3rd Round... LOOL! It has nothing to do with ME not getting the importance of this competition. I know I am not British (thank fuck), but dont play this stupid 'tradition defender' card to me. I might not get it, but I read and listen to a lot of English sports journalists and most of them would pick 3 points in the EPL over a FA Cup win. The guys on Football Weekly even agreed they would take 1 point in the EPL then to advance in the FA Cup 4th Round (just listen to their last podcast). So, as you see, it has nothing to do with ME! And dont be ridiculous, of course everybody would choose both. However, that defeats the whole purpopse of choosing. You just didnt answer it because you know Jose would pick a win in the Premier League over beating Derby County without even thinking twice about it! I totally agree, but I completely disagree that playing some reserves would cause that! This team can lose and a reserve team can win. It is impossible for us to know, so the whole argument of playing this specific lineup (that isnt even our best) in order to avoid the replay goes to waist. Also, I am of the opinion Mourinho could use some rotation to avoid future discontentment. It would satisfy some players who havent been given much of a chance (KDB, Ba, Kalas, Bertrand, etc) and it would allow him to also test how they react during official matches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Anyway, my opinion is that he should use both cups to make tests, rotation and adjustments (especially during this transition period). EPL must be the focus and if we end up losing in the FA Cup because of that, too bad. If you think otherwise, then lests just agree to disagree...

Not at all...We dont NEED to win the match. It is not like the future of the club depends on it. Of course we all want Chelsea to win, but still. Also, the cups are a great way to try new tactics and to give young/reserve players some game time. Coming from you (a false defender of the young players), it shocks me that you dont want them to have some playing time! And please, dont give me that crap about 'respecting the competition'. If Jose were offered 3 points in the EPL for a loss at the FA Cup he wouldnt even think twice! The FA Cup is great and it has a lot of tradition, but it is not worth creating future problems in order to beat the mighty Derby County...

I wish he had played a few reserves and/or youngsters...

How do you make it sound?

This thread was by far the best place to laugh while he was not banned!

I miss the Turkish dude!

Fuck you Tom, I didnt want the Turkish guy to get banned!

I think we can pull it off. Since most teams are in transition mode (after the Chelsea/Manure era), it is anyone's title.Arsenal and Liverpool are Arsenal and Liverpool, Tottenham is out of the race (imo) and ManUtd has too many problems to be able to go on a title winning streak. It is basically between us and City! City has the players to take the league by a storm but they still havent quite clicked just yet. They look absolutely incredible in one match and ridiculously average in the next one. And Pelegrini is still adapting to how football is played in England (although he is learning quickly). Chelsea has a weaker squad, but if things go our way we can definitely take advantage of all the inconcistency that has hit the Premier League. Not to say we have Jose Mourinho! I dont know, we will have to wait to see it...

I never said it would be easy, but if we want to finish first we will have to do it! There are usually two ways to become champions. The first is to absolutely crush the small teams and only do alright versus the direct rivals (and we all know how shit we are vs the pub teams). The second is to keep a close distance to the top and win the direct 6 points matches. If we are to take the EPL home, we MUST win against the likes of ManCity, Arsenal, Liverpoll, etc...

Post of the year!

I agree, but what can we do? I mean, referees are humans and they will continue to make mistakes no matter how good they become. And fining players is useless, they will much prefer to get a penalty then to not lose 100k or whatever. If we had a "review" system, I think the game as a whole (specially the cheating part of it) would get a lot better! One can dream...
