  1. This reminds so much of high school, lmao. Good times! I second what Choulo said...
  2. OUT: - Torres (24mi) - Marin (6mi) - Essien (14mi) - Malouda, Benayoun, Lampard and Ferreira (free) IN: - Cavani (48mi) - Schurrle (22mi) - Moutinho (26mi) - Subotic (16mi) TOTAL: 68mi
  3. One season is only one season and if he fails to win UCL for the second straight year, how will he be remembered? As the guy who won Bundesliga with the best record and trashed Barcelona or the guy who let BVB win the double in 2012 and lost 2 consecutive finals? It is still all very relative when it comes to Heynckes. He lies into a fine line between failing and being an absolute hero! Just made my case with the very first sentence! I am saying that Mourinho is not the best manager right now, as you pointed out, even Jupp is in front of him. Now, this has nothing to do with me thinking that Klopp is the better coach overall nor that he is the better option. I said from the start that I want Mourinho and end of story, he is the only one good enough to lead our team and handle with English media and Roman's temper. I am Mourinho all the way! I am just stating and giving facts why he is not the best manager at the moment. Meaning that if we were to give an award or something, he would not be a contender. That is all... Well, he cant do much worse, can he? Kidding, he will be as successful as he was previously (I have no doubt). If in 3-4 years we can win EPL and UCL (even if it is all we get, 2 trophies), I will be forever happy!
  4. Loool, all of this to admit he was the best in the past couple of years!
  5. Great, tackled the irrelevant ironic part of my post, yet gave nothing to defend Mourinho against my claim that Klopp was the better manager in the past 2-3 seasons. I guess you gave up? Yes, it is short, nonetheless, what matters is the result you get in the end!
  6. Absolutely agree, spot on! I just dont want anything risky right now, I want safe for at least a couple of years!
  7. I get that, but Madrid's biggest fails have not been against Barcelona! The first semi-final was a lost cause, because everyone knew Barcelona would beat them. However, what about last year's penalty shoot out and this year's shameful game? I could go one forever, because I will continue to criticize Mourinho for his spell in Madrid and continue to believe he was not the best manager in the past 2 seasons. RDM was more successful, lmao.
  8. I can say Mourinho is not the best manager in the world right now, because that has nothing to do with past record. I never touched overall careers! Also, your Bundesliga comparison is irrelevant because the last time I remembered, Mourinho wasnt able to replicate our first two EPL season in the third year. Does that mean he was not the best manager back then? I also dont remeber him reaching UCL final with us... If you look at what he has done in Real and what Klopp has done in BVB, this is not even a fair game! EDIT: I will be forever hated in this thread because I am not a fan boy. No manager is above the club and no manager will get my blind love...
  9. No he doesnt, I am not talking about careers here, 'mister'. I am talking about being the best as of right now! It is laughable for someone to say Mourinho is the better coach in the last 2 years or so. He has the most expensive squad in the planet and basically only won 1 La Liga and 1 Copa del Rey. He was a failure at Madrid and people have to accept that. It also took him almost 2 years to beat Barcelona... Klopp on the other hand, won 2 Bundesligas and 1 DB-Pokal by trashing Bayern. He is also on route to try in winning BVB's third UCL and has almost secured their first final since 1997. Who was better in the last 2-3 years? Who did more with a very tiny fraction of the other's budget? ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Now, "you have to be better than everyone else to win"? Please, what about Pep Guaardiola and SAF? One has 4 years of career and already has the same amount of UCL that Mourinho has and the other has more than double of his trophies. By your standards, they should be better than Jose. But they aren't!
  10. And back then, Mourinho was the best coach. Simple! What do you mean, "I think he cant do good here"? I already said this in the previous post...
  11. I hope Chelsea is indeed saving money, because no matter who is our owner, it is not healthy to throw money into the trash. Like Torres... It is absolutely ridiculous to listen to some 'fans' who go on about money not being an issue. Makes me wonder if they are not only here because of it. If you can have a mentality that helps you finacially, you can only benefit from it! I think you are the one rooting for the wrong team, do us a favor and keep logged off!
  12. @, now you ask me if I want Klopp, right? No! I still stand by my opinion that it is either Mourinho or bust (in our current situation and Roman's lack of patience). We know that Jose will have 100% backup from everyone (fans, media and even the board), he knows the league and is capable of building impressive teams. Klopp, on the other hand, is inexperienced in EPL and might not be able to handle egos. All of this is still a big question mark on him. So, despite the fact I think he is currently the best manager in the world, I dont think he is ready for Chelsea and all that comes with it. Mourinho for the rescue!
  13. Right now? Klopp without one single doubt! He not only outclassed Madrid in 3 straight games, but he did that with much less money. The entire Dortumund squad is worth 94mi euros, which would be able to buy Pepe + Di Maria + Ozil or only CR7! BVB lost 3 essential players on their back-to-back titles (Sahin, Kagawa and Barrios), but managed to find 2 better replacements (Lewandowski and Reus) for a profit of more than 10mi euros. On top of that, he didnt create one hell of an unsustainable dressing room with the players he chose by himself....
  14. Exactly, people saying they cant believe in Mourinho being outclassed and unprepared. Of course it has to be the players, José doesnt do any mistake! Mourinho is not the best manager in the world right now, but he is our best option by far. With that said, fan boys will blindly denfend him in every single criticism he is given. For them, he will never do one thing wrong in his career. Until May, we will here all sorts of stories about Jose and all sorts of wankfest in here. I just hope there are enough memes and smileys to survive until he officially announces it.
  15. It is the price of development: cars, industries, tv, internet, etc; makes it all very dangerous and uninteresting and as the time goes by, more and more kids will be prevented from doing so. When I was a kid (until my 11-12s), I lived in a dead end street. I used to go back from school (I used to even go to it wearing futsal boots so I didnt have to change at home, lol), drop my backpack at home and go to the street play with my friends. We spent the whole afternoon playing 'taco' (Brazilian cricket), kite, football and even basketball (my buddie's dad bought us a hoop). Now (and the worst part is that I am not an 80 yo saying this, I still have 19!), all I see are people with their iPhones and iPads or even their Playstasions and Xbox. I mean, come on, where is all the fun? Now, whenever I want to play football, I either have to rent a fucking pitch or I need to drive almost 100km to get out of the city. What the fuck is that? Absolutely horrific. How are young people going to have fun? From what I feel, they dont even see each other after school. They go online to talk and play. Then, we see lonely boys all over the internet (not intended to anyone in the forum). Where are the days friends spent the whole day at each other's house and have sleep overs? How can you build a strong friendship without having fun together and sharing secrets or talking about pretty girls at school? My cousin who is 13, knows nothing of what I just talked about. He hasn't lived any of this. He doest know how to ride a bicycle nor a skate. When I was his age, the amount of distance I had ridden on both was enough to reach Stamford Bridge. He also rarely go out with his friends nor invite them to sleep or anything. This is not normal in my world... Tell me, if things be in the future if things continue to follow this path, I fear for my possible kids! EDIT: I live in a big city, so in other places of Brazil, this still happens a lot. I just fear for how long though!
  16. I have to disappoint you and say is culture is dying very fast. My father played it a lot, I played very little and my son will probably never play in the street...
  17. Both say in the article that their source is Bild.
