  1. LOL, mine is a theory and yours is what? :lol2: A simple injury problem will be absorved by the another striker, not by the 3 who will be on the sideline! SAF is a big as they get and how many clashes he had with great players? Beckham, Tevez, etc, etc... When the competition is too much, maybe? Pretty obvious! First, GKs are a whole other issue, stupid to bring that up. Second, Benayoun and Marin are shit players with no history, they know it, so they dont complain. Third, Meireles and Essien were so happy that both left the club, lol. Ba is a great striker, I don't know what you are talking about. He is better than Arsenal's main strikers, Giroud and Podolski. Then, Torres is a useless player but not with an useless wage. It is anything but easy to get rid of him! Things are not simple dude, getting into a season with 4 strikers is suicide. It can ruin the dressing room and selling players in January isn't the easiest thing to do. You stall some player's development and take other's momentum, resulting in a downfall of all the 3 bench players!
  2. 1. I am more excited for Copa Italia than I am for UCL Final! 2. Neymar is underrated by European fans, but is overrated by the media!
  3. Dude, sorry, but just be quite! This is nonsense... You are suggesting 4 strikers for a ONE striker system! City plays with 2 strikers and Balotelli already left because he was causing too much problems with Mancini due to not playing him enough. Now, they are already with 3 strikers and there is still complaints coming from Dzeko. And that is because I didnt touch Tevez situation. ManCity will most probably sell one of Dzeko or Tevez and buy another striker. Meaning they will have 3 target men for a duo stiker formarion! Utd also plays with 2 strikers and the last time I checked, Rooney and Chichiaito were very unhappy (for different reasons, but still). Many sources saying they want to sell both and buy Lewandowski. So they will have RVP, Lewa and Wellbeck for a duo striker formation. Both teams had problems with the dressing room because of that and they play with 2 strikers. However, you want 4 players for one position, like it wont generate problems!!! This is not FM where all you will get is a red unhappy tag next to the player's name and all you have to do is put him on the transfer list. The real life is vastly more complicated. Sometimes, a shit mood between the players is worse than having a bad quality squad but with desire and integration... Madrid fits the two examples perfectly. They play with one striker and only have 2 players for the position and I hear no one moaning they need another one. Also, they have a super shit dressing room and look for how many pub teams they have lost or draw. If we indeed start the season with X + Lukaku + Ba + Torres, shit will happen. First of all, we would have a top10 wage in the reserves, which is bad enough in itself. Then, either Lukaku or Ba would be absolutely unhappy. So, what do you do? You sell an rather stablished player in EPL that just arrived or do you sell a promissing young star? Worse, where do you find a good replacement who will agree to play 8-10 games a season? VERY COMPLICATED!!!
  4. That is an excuse for not having too much depth! Ask City how their depth squad turned out...
  5. So, Monaco are buying Falcao + Moutinho + James Rodriguez + Kaka, but they are refusing to pay 200mi in taxes? :lol2:
  6. He would accept going to Chelsea, for sure! But...Do we need Neymar when we have Hazard? I dont think so! The same goes for Real, will he have space in the same position CR7 plays? Not really!
  7. Exactly why Santos doesn't want to settle for such a 'low' (in their minds) price. They want to see if any higher bids will come to the table! ESPN BR reported that Manchester City would be studying to make a bid of around 30mi (which is what Santos wants) to lure Neymar. However, Neymar isn't keen on going to England, let alone for City...
  8. At least that is pretty basic stuff! Is that how you call it in English? In Portuguese, we say 'integrate'!
  9. Santos just turned down a 25mi offer from Barcelona (after rejecting their initial 18mi offer a few days ago) in a meeting they had today. Total wankers, do they think they are going to get more for a player in his last year of contract? Neymar's investment group representative seemed very angry with the rejected bid when he was interviewed after leaving Neymar's (father) house...
  10. Maybe a DM or CB depending how you view things, but yeah, pretty much it! In any scenario, Isco is not needed...
  11. You just made this cover very disturbing, definitely not buying it now!
  12. When was I not sensible? Cavani/Falcao + Lukaku + Ba or Cavani/Falcao + Ba + Lukaku loaned is one thing, but spending 20-22mi for another striker (remember we still have Torres) is plain stupid (IMO). We still have many holes in our squad to spend money on someone who wont improve much. Lukaku is as capable to play a second role as Martinez (for instance)!
  13. Only if the striker X is better than Lukaku and Ba, which isnt the case with anyone besides Cavani/Rooney/Falcao/Lewandowski...
  14. Not really, we will play 4-2-3-1 or 4-3-3, systems that use only 1 striker! Having Lukaku, Ba and New ST is totally unecessary and one will Always be unhappy with playing time...
  15. LOL! But it is true, if we are going to buy a striker just for the sake of it, lets reacall Lukaku! I only want a new striker if he is one of the 4 big options. I dont want Higuain, Soldado, Martinez, Gomez, etc. Lukaku is just as good as is free!
  16. If Falcao, Cavani and Lewandowski arent available, we should just recall Lukaku!
  17. And as much as I hate to be wrong (which doesnt happen very often, lol), I hope you are right!
  18. Because I am a lazy fucker who dont give a shit if people will agree with me or not! :tophat: In fact, I have presented all my facts in one of the articles/topics you made about our youth academy once, and if I recall correctly, you agreed with me. There is a difference between agreeing to give them a chance and craving things like: "this one will be English captain", "this will be as legendary as Drogba", "that one will be the new Romario", "the other will be the best keeper in our history", etc. We dont even know if they will be successful Chelsea players, let alone crave those ridiculous statements... I grew up inside a football club and lived youth academies throughout my (short) life. There are tons, tons of great players who become nothing. The very rare exceptions are the ones who go to become top players (specially in the same academy they were from). If you read our young players thread, there is a general consensus that every single one of them will become amazing Chelsea players. Sorry, but this is wonderland and all that will bring is disappointment. The types of post I read will only be justifiable once they are playing well for us. Right now, all they have earned is the right to be given decent playing time for our club, nothing more and nothing less. They will only earn my praises once they have actually done something! Also, I have never said it is wrong to get excited, I said it is ridiculous to get overly excited!
  19. Than that is your opinion, not a fact! I dont think he is half as good in those attributes than you make him, that is my opinion, but just because of that, it doesnt make my point of view a fact!
  20. Deserve a chance is one thing, overreacting their role in the upcoming season is overrating them! And no, I wasnt reffering to you directly, I was paraphrasing many things I have read in their threads and it happened that one of them was yours...
  21. I dont think we will announce anything before our US Tour nor before La Liga is over...
  22. Can you please explain me where the irony lies?
  23. Dude, can you please stop insulting everyone? Every 10 posts you make, 9 are being disrespectful to some member in which you disagree with...
