I'd always use the train if I had the option here. It would be worth it even if only for saving me the trouble of finding a parking spot. Here you drive a car or you go by bus, but busses are always overcrowded, super hot and late. Sometimes you have to wait 30 minutes for a bus. And good luck on taking the bus in rush hours.

You guys are lucky to have public transport systems that work, you should make good use of it.
