DL's errors are very over exaggerated. If you follow a defender on a consistent basis you will notice they all make mistakes here and there. Hummels was god to some people not long ago, but we all saw how he performed on UCL. Had he performed well people who don't follow his matches would still think he was a thousand miles above Luiz.

David Luiz was one of our best players this season and arguably the best of the second half, and his best performances were at CB. If we are selling him we'd better ask for a huge sum of money.

Yeah, in a perfect world I would admit the possibility of tolerance. Unfortunately I don't live in such a world and I have to think about people who will feel genuinely offended by that. No matter what you choose someone is going to feel wronged. I have to read everyday myself in our Constitution that it was written under the protection of God, and I'm an atheist. Not only I find it disrespectful but very stupid (because stating it was written under those conditions doesn't make it more or less true, if it was, it was, whether you write it down or not), but I ain't making a big deal about it. Still some people find it a big deal and are trying to change the text.

Why is it much harder for the minority group? I'd say the majority of jobs aren't public. In terms of fairness no one will display their religious beliefs, everyone will be as neutral as possible. Nobody is asking for you to quit your religion, just to refrain from showing it for neutrality of public services. It's just like racism. There's no problem if you think racist stuff all day long, as long as you don't exteriorize those thoughts into racist behavior. Besides, your religion was your own choice. We are not denying your right to have a public job, you are denying it yourself by the choices you've made.

What about the anti-feelings I get if I'm a muslim and I go to court and there is this huge cross at the wall and in the necklace of the judge? I find that much worse. It's just common sense. Nobody is forcing you to have a public job, if you want one, abide by the rules and know you'll be representing the entire society in all of its differences, hence you should not be wearing your religious symbols. If you can't deal with that go find another job.

I think it's wrong to carry any religious symbol if you have a public function. It's not about free expression - when you have a public function you represent the state, the government. And Brazil is a laic state, it has no religion, I would assume Belgium is the same. Every individual exercising a public job is a representative of the state and as such should not be displaying any religious preference, at least not when doing his job functions.
