  1. Wtf, Rom. That was a Timo-esque finish. Lucky he was offside.
  2. We need to finish them off. Don't let that become another Southampton game.
  3. We need some more creativity from the midfielders.
  4. It's very nice of you to notice my flag and put out an argument which is completely out of context and has nothing to do with the topic. You seem to be getting way too defensive for no real reason unless you like Newcastle and are getting ready to switch teams. Either way I'm far more familiar with English football than my country's domestic league and I don't recognise any of your stuff as facts. My question was almost rhetorical.
  5. I understand all that, I just find much more sense those foreign investors to be more interested in clubs like Everton (extremely successful prior the creation of the Premier League, decent side, they have famous rivals), Leicester (recent success, they got worldwide attention following their 15/16 shock title win) if the top 6 clubs are excluded. Also if it doesn't have to be a Premier League team you have clubs from famous European cities who are already well known and successful like Lazio, Roma, Sevilla.
  6. Well, we have extremely different criteria for what can be considered a big club. And no, I don't think a couple of top 4 finishes in the mid 90s and early 2000s are good enough.
  7. I'm following the EPL since the late 90s and yes, they had a couple of good seasons under Sir Bobby Robson and there was that time when they challenged United for the league in a season under Keegan, but I could hardly call that "massive" and "giant", lol. Not to mention the fact the haven't won any silverware since the 50s. Then again the size of the club was not exactly the focal point of my post.
  8. Well that's quite weird. I mean, why Newcastle? Absolutely nothing particularly interesting about the club. I haven't been in the city, but from what I've heard it's small, unappealing and the location is far from great. I can defnitely see what the new owners saw in the other big money takeovers (even with City to some extent) but what's exactly the appeal here?
  9. Arse are so lucky not to be trailing at the moment.
  10. Oh please, don't shake hands with that prick Atkinson!
  11. This should've been soo much easier. On another day without the FA trying to screw us over we would've ran riot.
  12. Werner scores. Not going to celebrate until I see these cunts take the kick off.
  13. We're not going to win this one. It's a shame because it should have been an extremely comfortable win before the FA steppen in.
  14. I'm pretty sure they're just using the VAR to waste time here. They are not going to give a red card of course.
  15. The FA are obviously doing their best to stop us from winning this one. How are we supposed to have the mood to keep watching our favorite team after that BS?
  16. How was that not a foul against CHO? Atkinson, you old cunt.
  17. Also it's fair to say Saul has been a completely pointless signing so far when even RLC, Barkley and Chalobah (in CM) are in front of him in the pecking order.
  18. Way too many defensive players in this lineup. Honestly I'm a bit worried, but let's see.
