I think people are a bit blinded by the top 4 finish and somehow forgot how garbage we are since the turn of the year. We were trashed by Bournemouth and City and our first away win in 2019 came in March. Weak EPL sides defend without too much effort against us and in the same time our defense always looks shaky. On paper the season might look decent because of the collective meltdown of the teams around us, but in the end we're still light years behind the top 2.

We had a decent first half of the season because Sarri-ball was kinda working for us in the beginning. Considering we've been found out and were lacking plan B ever since January, we were humiliated by Bournemouth and City, etc.. I'd say it's a decent finish in the end. But then again we got lucky Arsenal and Man Utd turned out to be even worse in the decisive matches at the end.

We don't deserve to play in the UCL next season at all, but I'll take that. Arsenal totally blew it as only a month ago they had series of winnable matches and they lost 3 in a row and drew against Brighton today. Guess they're not more deserving of that top 4 spot, are they?

To be honest I think this is the point where I just don't care anymore. Last time I've had this feeling was during the 15/16 season and even though the results were worse then it somehow doesn't feel as bad as it does now.

Do you remember when we beat Arsenal 6-0 5 years ago? How many of you thought you could witness the same thing happen to us in your lifetime?

Remember when just a few years ago with all our troubles at least you could say we haven't suffered a humiliation the way Spurs, Arsenal or Liverpool have?

How the hell are we winning? I almost decided not to watch the match after midweek and suddenly we're beating the best team in the world at the moment.

Just remember how Willian missed a 1 on 1 against the keeper during the last minutes of the first half and Morata couldn't score a sitter in the beginning of the second one. Either way a deserved loss, I don't want to think about this bunch of losers anymore this evening.

Oh boy, I just can't wait for the match against City...Should I really bother with it and ruin my mood again in the weekend? And yes, I have no doubt that we're going to lose again.

Willy is incredibly underrated. Best backup keeper we've had in a very long time. Also unlike Courtois he can save penalties.
