You know that Abraham had maybe three shots at target in his two recent games, right? Ronaldo needs seven shots before he scores a goal, Messi needs six shots before he scores a goal. It is not like he missed twenty shots and did not score a goal. People need to have a fair judgement on Youth, but instead they criticise them for anything.

We played better with Giroud in the first half, but not because of Giroud. The overall performance of our starting eleven was very good, so Giroud got a lot of chances, which he messed up most of the times due to the fact that he lacked pace or he was just offside. He scored a great goal though. The second half with Giroud was way worse because our team dropped their concentration. This aso did nothing to do with Giroud. It was just that our team was not that good compared to the first half
-
He also improved his creativity a lot.He made some great passes yesterday.

Exactly. Sometimes I think that when a youth team player does not score a chance or make the best pass in a certain situation, millions of Chelsea fans come to criticise those youth players for messing up one situation. On the other hand, those people would have never criticised players like Drogba for missing the same chances. If prime Drogba missed those chances, nobody would have cared. Abraham has a lot of potential. He is tall (we do not have good crossers and that is not Tamys fault), he is fast, good fist touch and hold up play, What I also think is funny is that fucking Ronaldo needs 7 shots( Messi needs 6 shots) before he actually scores a goal. Nobody cares if Ronaldo or Messi miss those other shots before their goal. Abraham had two or three shots at target in his two matches against the best of the best teams. When Messi or Ronaldo miss chances, nobody cares. When Abraham misses one chance, he gets slaughtered. Fucking Costa even missed open goals.Messi missed open goals too. Abraham hit the post, won us a penalty and Van Dijik, the best CB in the world right now, had some trouble dealing with Abrahams pace. His hold up play was great too and still people want to slaughter him. A lot of Chelsea fans are so hyprictical... I remember the time people bashed RLC and I always knew that RLC could become a great player by just watching youth games.People said he was lazy, not technical enough etc, it was hilarious. I was the one defending him in german and english forums^^. No, everyone rates him. Do you know why? Because RLC was always a no. 8. Mou thought he was a no. 6, Hiddink thought he was a no. 10, Conte thought he was a striker, Hodgons thought he was a winger and finally Sarri thought that he was a no. 8.People never even thought about the fact that RLC was playing out of position. They started bashing him right away and he even played good in the matches he played for us before Sarri. Chelsea Fans have crazy expectations when it comes to youth, even though some of our youth players were better than our first team players, but they still don´t realise that. People also started to write off CHO already, after he played a normal game against Pool. Chelsea Fans did not even think about the fact that he is a left winger or a second striker. He rarely played as a right winger at youth level, but most Chelsea Fans don´t think about those kind of facts and just say that he is not good enough. Look at CHOs player thread after the Pool match. You can also look at RLCs player thread what people were writing about him when he was playing under Mou, Conte or whatever. I was the one defending RLC because I always knew his potential. But you can´t expect from Chelsea Fans to actually watch Youth games or have a fair opinion on youth players when they are given first team chances. That is too much to ask for the average Chelsea fan. Chelsea Fans and Real Madrid fans are so much alike... Also, people wrote off KDB, even though anyone with eyes could see that he had world class potential. Probably the same people thought that Oscar and Willian were world class players and those players don´t even have any potential to become world class players too begin with. Oscar scored one great goal against Juventus and he was hailed as the next big thing. Apart from that, he did not have any great qualities to become world class. Some people in this forum said that Hazard was not world class, not a big game player, not constand enough etc. ..He left us as one of the best players that have ever played for this club. There were a lot of times were people did not rate him enough.

What great passes did Tammy get in the United game?I don´t remember any of great passes at all and he still hit the post against United. Today, it was the first time Tammy got some very good balls and he should have scored that one goal where he missed, but I have seen many great strikers miss those kind of chances. Tammy was the one of the reasons why we even got to the penalties. Obviously, he needs to improve, but his first two chances were against fucking United and Pool.
-
And he was offside how many times? And how many promising counter attacks did he fuck up because of his pace?
-
Apart from his great goal, Giroud did offer nothing. Very slow, can´t press and does not have a gas tank
-
He actually played a pretty good match. He even once outmuscled Van Dijik. His pace gave Pool some problems. Missing a penalty is not the end. Azpi missed penalties, JT missed penalties etc. He also gave us a penalty
-
But Giroud is the king of offside
-
Christensen could be named Captain too. He was our captain at youth level and he is quite outspoken in the pitch
-
Giroooouuuuuddddd
-
Giroud can´t even score that...
-
That shot was clearly not easy to take. Nice Pedro
-
Jorginho with a nice pass
-
Giroud is not good at Counter Attacking
-
We play with a lot of experience. Lets see how Giroud plays
-
We can´t buy him in January due to the transfer ban

What did Barkley offer in that match? What did Barkley offer las season? Barkley offered us nothing last season and was the reason why Sarri at the beginning struggled to win. Then, RLC came along and he made us better in the offensive point of view. You could argue that Barkley played a very good pre season, but Mount did that too and has way better gas tank than Barkley. Barkley usually gets tired after 60-70 minutes and Sarri for instance usually subbed him off at that time. Tammy has a lot more to offer than Giroud. Tammy is faster, can dribble better, is better at pressing and is as tall as Giroud. Giroud has the better hold up play, but that alone should not make him a starter. When Lamps brought Giroud in the second half, Giroud did nothing that makes me think that he should be a starter. Abraham nearly scored one goal and had bad luck. His hold up play iin the first half was good. Of course it was bad in the second half, but which of our players played good in the second half? Obviosly, Tammy is not perfect, but he will improve. Giroud will only get worse. At the end of the day it is not about experience. It is about how good you are. Azpi for instance has all the experience in the world. Still plays crap since last season. I remember Ivanovic few years ago. He was maybe the worst right back in the history of the PL, even though he had all the experience in the world. There was a time when Ivanovic was rock solid and one of the best defensive right backs in the world. You sound like Mourinho with your experience talk. KDB had no experience and Mou played Lamps instead of a talented KDB and believe me, a lot of people knew that Mou made the wrong decision. I watched KDB a little bit in Bremen and his pre season and knew he was the real deal. Mou´s philosophy was experience and we payed our price for that.
-
Giroud really did not perform that wel in PL. He most of the time played good in EL and the competition we faced in EL was not that great.
-
The funny thing is that I can´t see him talking about Zouma. Why is that? Zouma played horribly, but Mou seems to like him...
-
How is his recovery going? When will he be back? We really need him back as soon as possible
-
If Zouma makes a stupid tackle, what fault has Lamps in it? Only fault that Lamps made was that he let Zouma play because Rüdiger was not ready. We made four individual mistakes and that is the problem.
-
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qeOr53pxTPg At least Lampard is making the right conclusions of the game. A lot of individual mistakes. What I think is weird is that Mou did not say anything to Zouma´s performance, which was worse that Christensens.
-
Barkley is not famous for having a huge gas tank.
-
Wasn´t he playing as a winger today?
