Even if we buy a good striker, he or Tammy will get worse eventually after a season or so. Just like Jesus from City got worse when Aguero became their main striker again. If you do not play enough, you will get worse. At top clubs like Real, City, Barcelona etc. you do not rotate your main striker as much. So Jovic got worse, Jesus got worse and at Chelsea, Michy got worse.

One of my best friends is a Inter fan, who watches Inter matches since he was a child and he said at the beginning of the season that Skriniar is the best 1 vs 1 defender he has seen in a while at Inter (based on last season). But now he says that de Vrij is superior than Skrinar and he bosses their defence. I rate his opinion because we most of the times come to the same conclusions when it comes to football. De Vrij is also a ballplaying defender and he has a lot of assists this season. When I look into stats, De Vrij also seems to be superior when it comes to defensing based on this season. So I would prefer de Vrij. We really lack in creativity, so a ball playing defender would be a blessing if you ask me.

As far as I remember, Chelsea wanted Golovin, but Golovin wanted to be a starter and at Chelsea it is usually really hard to be a regular starter. I think the president of Monaco himself said that Chelsea was their biggest threat signing Golovin, but Chelsea had too many players in their squad and Golovin wanted to play as a starter. That can hardly be bad journalism.

I would like to see Barcelona go for Martinez from Inter. He is a World class Player. He would be perfect for Barcelonas style of play and Perfect long term Suarez replacement. Also, I would replace Griezmann with Neymar in a Swap deal. Griezmann on the wings is just not Barcelona Level and it is either Griezmann as a striker or sell for me. Beckenbauer would have won zero International and national titles without Hoeneß, Netzer, Rummenigge, Müller, Berti Vogts, Maier, Paul Breitner etc. For me personally, best Defender of all time is Maldini. Played the best of the best in a modern era of football. I don't think the comparisons of really old players with modern Football players makes Sense. The quality of Football Today is way better than for example Peles Time. Pele was playing nobodys in Brasilian League. Back then nutritition sucked, tactics sucked, quality of players sucked , athleticism of the players sucked, the developtment of the players sucked etc. . Todays footballers quality is superior than 50 years ago. Let Messi or Ronaldo play 50 years ago and they would get bored instantly. No Competition etc. Just a unfair comparison. Beckenbauer with the conditions of today would probably be a better Player, but still hard to compare. You just can compare Beckenbauer of old time playing worse Quality of players with players like Madini who played against better oppositions but also with better conditions. So Maldini wins that battle. Funny Thing is that Beckenbauer himself said that Peps Bayern was better than legendary 1973 Bayern, which also is true because the Quality of todays players is way better his time. 100% agree. Messi ist the best ever. I also do not get the people that criticise Messi for not winning the WC, which is a very stupid argument to begin with. Messi was the only reason why Argentina was in the final. If it wasn't for Messi, they would not even survived group Phase. But you can't expect from Messi haters to see the bigger picture. They just hate him. If Messi was chinese, they would say the same thing that Messi needs to win WC to be the goat with China...
