Yes agree to disagree, sorry there's no way I can endorse ''the opposition is literally everything'' On to the game, we need to carry on where we left off, not that worried about them having a lot of possession on the wide Wembley turf as long as we dont squander our breaks

We had a strong captain for13 years, and this wouldnt have happened. Madueke can be forgiven as he thought the penalty was for his foul, but Jackson has a bit of a 'start a fight in an empty room' about him. End of the day its not important in the scheme of things, shows a competitive spirit.

Yes, my point exactly. No way is it ''the opposition is literally everything'' 👍
-
But to say that everything depends on the opposition seems quite naive. Imagine a boxer going into the ring with that mindset. That doesnt seem to be true, surely the protagonist has a bearing on standings, not just how the opposition performs. Bottom line, our team isnt 'lower league' we have a lot of quality, I am doubling down on my original assertion, that if we play the way we played last night (maybe without the bickering over the penalty 😃) we will beat them. But it depends which Chelsea turns up

To me it is very simplistic to say ''the opposition is literally everything in football''. What you do as a team has a huge bearing on the result.

Dont care for either of 'em. Barca cheating cunts and when we were at PSG their fans threw beer and crisp bags full of piss over our disabled fans. Utter vermin.
-
Disagree, apart from Citeh will be a totally different ball game. End of the day you can only beat whats in front of you, last night we had a great mentality - ie we will score more than the opposition, and attack is the best form of defence. I honestly believe we would have beaten anyone. Question is can we keep up the momentum....

Well then its up to US citizens to demand change, otherwise they get the World of Shit by default

Pretty certain they wont be disinterested, but playing as we did last night *regardless* of the opposition we will prevail. Outstanding performance all round. Being Chels, things will doubtless get pear shaped
-
Play like we did last night and all will be fine
-
Arsenal are London rivals and Liverpool are widely despised for their history with Chelsea, on and off the pitch. Nauseating as it is to have moneybags Citeh dominating, to most Chelsea fans it is definitely the lesser evil
-
Almost as good as a Chels win, seeing Klopp and Arteta fuck up 😍

Where are all the MPs endlessly parroting ''Iran has the right to defend itself'',? oh hang on Iran didnt 'donate' 10m to the tory party and 4m to the Labour party, nor murder 20 000 women and children.....

Quite justified. Lost 8 duels, the most out of all the players on the pitch, and lost the ball 21 times in 89 minutes
-
Said he wants 5 years to get Chelsea up there. Fuck off with that

DONALD Trump’s campaign team say they are confident in their chances of electoral success as an earthquake and solar eclipse foreshadow great evil coming to the US. After New York was shaken by tremors on Friday and the sun will turn black over great swathes of America today, the Republican nominee’s team have confirmed that these Biblical portents are a clearer sign of upcoming victory than any opinion poll. A campaign spokesman said: “Our next milestone is the plague of locusts we’re anticipating around June, and if we have a rain of blood and hail by mid-August, we’ll know our team is winning round swing voters on the doorstep. “Then we’ll be looking out for great cracks in the earth belching forth fire and brimstone, and hopefully some kind of hideous beast rising from the boiling sea, like Godzilla. People will really get on board with that because they’ve seen it at the movies. “And if a star falls from the heavens and poisons the waters of the earth by the time of the second presidential debate, then there’ll be no doubt. We’ll be expecting a landslide on election day. Literally. San Francisco will be in the sea by lunchtime.”
