...can't believe Ranieri is bitter about anything to be honest -genuine Mr nice guy like Zola. But I wouldn't blame him at all for being so, Kenyon would slice up his own mother for a few quid.

Hi I'm Sebastian, i often sit in the West Stand with Jemimah and Taki Moshi my Tokyo broker. We love Chelsea, and have been known to booooo several times. Its not been the same though since Jose Mooulinex and Alan Crespo have left.

Mikel, Malaysia, Ronaldinho
Fulham Broadway replied to Fulham Broadway's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Agree said this all along -there was a marathon long thread on this on the previous site. If he was under 18 then the ManUtd contract would have been worthless. -
Most top flight players have media coaching- and are told near enough what to say when interviewed, though obviously missing in this instance. Terry is pissed off at losing the armband, and in a way it shows his fighting spirit -this is what has made him the player he is. Thing is, footballers are just that -footballers. More often than not they're not that bright, and it's wrong to equate ball skills with intelligence.

Chelsea mull £4m legal action over Mikel signing David Hytner Friday March 28, 2008 The Guardian Chelsea are considering the pursuit of a claim against Lyn to recoup the £4m they paid to secure the signing of Mikel John Obi, after it emerged in court that the midfielder's first professional contract with the Norwegian club was a forgery. Morgan Andersen, a former director of Lyn, was found on Wednesday to have falsified the documents relating to Mikel in 2005. He was given a one-year jail sentence, suspended for two years, and ordered to pay costs. He plans to appeal. Mikel was at the centre of controversy after he agreed to leave Lyn for Manchester United in April 2005 ,only to claim he had been coerced into signing against his will and was determined to join Chelsea. The dispute rumbled on for more than a year until Chelsea paid £16m in compensation - £12m to United, £4m to Lyn - to take the Nigerian to Stamford Bridge. The Norwegian football authorities pursued the matter and the court in Oslo heard that Andersen had amended the contract to make it appear that Mikel, on his 18th birthday, had signed for Lyn when in fact he had not agreed a professional deal with the club. The prosecutor, Svein Holden, told the court the contract enabled Andersen to sell Mikel to United and profit from the deal. Without it, Holden claimed "Lyn would have been left with crumbs when Mikel disappeared out of the club". Legal recourse is available to Chelsea who, like United, acted in good faith throughout. The ramifications for United should Chelsea sue are unclear. "If there was fraudulent misrepresentation, then Chelsea can sue for compensation for the monies they have paid out," said Graham Shear, a sports law expert at Teacher Stern LLP. Chelsea face paperwork of a different nature regarding their manager, Avram Grant, after the club announced details of their pre-season tour to Malaysia. The south-east Asian country does not have formal diplomatic relations with Israel and Israeli nationals cannot travel there without special dispensation. Chelsea believe they have precedent on their side - Israeli athletes have been allowed into Malaysia in recent years - and Peter Kenyon, the club's chief executive, does not "anticipate any problems" in obtaining permits for Grant and the defender Tal Ben Haim. Chelsea's reported interest in Ronaldinho may be reignited by the Brazilian's agent admitting last night that a summer transfer from Barcelona is a possibility. Roberto Assis, the player's brother and agent, admitted the forward's relationship with Barcelona was "strained" and said: "The possibility for Ronaldinho leaving Barcelona is always there."

Agree GZ, and Mourinho is the sort of bloke who would have had a heart to heart with the players when he left, saying along the lines of ''keep doing what you're doing, even though I'm going, play for yourselves, '' etc etc.
-
Not that we need any more reasons for the bastard out, but take a look at this clip of Grant after 25 seconds. he's clearly trying to fool people into he's giving instructions, yet just flailing his arms about like a ...well....like a puppet http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m9TBRJDdK1k

Most people have doubts about Drogba being here, but it's Anelka that has been the proverbial travelling mercenary up to now. That said, if hes scoring he and his agent know we'll match any offer.
-
Definitely, I would have thought all those three will be on their way -will celebrate when Grant has gone as well. Think you're probably spot on there -also Kenyon is like the website, states the fucking obvious, or lies by omission, and is always banal. Anyway -would it really be a disaster if the Malaysian mega shirt sale is without those two ?
-
Its dangerous to get stuck in a 4-4-2 rut. different formations and fluidity needs to be experimented with. Every English game used to be played with a 2-3-5 formation until a certain Hungary and Puskas whacked six past us at Wembley. England need to play like latin, Southern European teams -holding the ball, possession, controlling the tempo/opponents heart rate etc instead of the ''hoof it to Shrek'' tactics when pressurised.
-
I hope, as we all do, Drogba stays and partnered with Anelka next season -can see a Gudjohnsen/Hasselbaink goal fest developing. Though it could be Anelka alongside a new striker for 2008-2009, or or in the middle with wingers.
-
Agree, but it's subjective over player selections -your choices are going to be different from other peoples etc., though there are some glaring mistakes named on the squad sheet. Capello may be McClaren in disguise, or is looking at evolving the squad -he's plenty of time
-
Going to stick a few quid on him to score against Fenerbache
-
Bottom line is theres way too much money swishing about and primadonnas quite happy to do fuck all on the gravy train. Hungry nationalistic teams like Croatia, or passionate teams like Brazil win tournaments
-
Agree with those exclamation marks !!!!! I certainly believe Grants appointment was so theres a link between Roman and the team -if not selection definitley eyes and ears. Its quite interesting Mourinho has made an announcement that with his next appointment he wants ''entire control over team selection and transfers''. As far as Ben Haim is concerned - not good enough, Bolton reject, mouth breather should fuck off to the Yids or something...
-
There has always been so much hype for the national team, always ending in failure. This tenure will be no different. Capello is just interested in adding to his multi million pound art collection I suspect, the players more interested in their domestic clubs, and next car collection. However,You do see a slightly different England in tournaments to be fair, and last night was a meaningless friendly, although not so meaningless for France.
-
Very rarely do clubs plan ahead to get rid of the manager, although as soon as Grant oozed his way in, I knew the writing was on the wall for Mourinho. I think David EU could be right -they are just making a contingency plan if Grant and Ben Haim are here. If we win any silverware I expect Grant to be here though, and Ben Haim if he makes a meaningless substitution in a winning situation. Abramovich wants his conduit to the team, so he can play real life Football Manager 2008.
-
It was always very odd, 'Zippy from Rainbow' Kenyon announcing a four year contract for the fraudster from the off. Hopefully a Malaysian assassin will take him out.
-
It's also the players attitude, they couldnt give a flying fuck abouit playing for England. Noticed this over the last 5 or so years. They're more interested in the CL next week. ..so am I to be honest.
-
Does not look good indeedy. It seems as though the Grinch and Tal Ben Awful are going to be around for awhile. I'm sure Romans ill gotten gains will grease a few Malaysian officials palms and the Jews will be allowed to go. Malaysia is one of 34 countries that wants nothing to do with Israel and Israelis and has no diplomatic ties.
-
Feel sorry for the fans that paid hundreds of pounds to go over and watch that....
-
His fitness is still there, so a new 1 year contract would be realistic. Hes definitely one for 'big' games, but his sharpness/concentration seems to lapse in some recent games, coincidentally with the arrival of the Special Needs One.
-
If we win the CL or PL Abramovich will almost definitely stick with the piss drinking charlatan
-
Wengers laughing -Eboue ''Ha Ha you're sinking'' Ballack ''So are you, and Pat Rice has almost disappeared''
