  1. Yup will we get 21 Trophies under Boehly and the Swiss hedgefunders. Rhetorical, but they will make some money doubtless
  2. Thats the problem, why is there nothing to aim for ? We have become a club of low expectations, a self fulfilling prophecy. So the mantra becomes ''next season''. Fuck that Spurs mentality. I normally calm down after an hour after a defeat, not worth getting worked up about. I am still fuming, can see the bigger picture, and the morass of constant shit results we're sleep walking into thanks to current ownership
  3. When Abramovich and Buck were sacking managers for a couple of losses, or for looking at Roman in a funny way, whatever, there was shock and emotion from fans and the media, and backroom staff at the brutality. However it turned out that ruthlessness was a 100% winning formula in terms of titles and trophies. The real tragedy is that any new manager now, will get away with 10-15 losses, and it will seem an 'improvement' - an 'acceptable' position. People better start getting used to it. On the positive a few tweaks could have an immediate turnaround - starting with some leaders on the pitch.
  4. Winning 4 out of 21 under Abramovich would be unthinkable - wouldnt happen. New ownership has created the low expectations and the notion that mediocrity is the new normal. The press conferences, and post match excuses - we played well, bla bla bla is the equivalent of the slow boiling of the frog. Put a frog in boiling water and the horror is immediately apparent. Put a frog in cold water and slowly heat it, it barely notices before it dies...
  5. Feel sorry for our travelling fans -abysmal performance A 90 minute crying wank
  6. Good point. I always noted Hasselbainks comments and analysis on TV to be 100% accurate-and thought why isn't he on our coaching staff ? Now he's been recruited by England national team.
  7. This is exactly what Pat Nevin said - take your time, rush into it and it can be a costly mistake. Having Frank as interim is a prudent pragmatic approach.
  8. He was very chummy with Kai at the end last night...maybe Teutonic bonding maybe more
  9. As long as Frank can come on and replace Kova just as he is about to shoot
  10. Think I read Kante is being moth balled for Madrid. But isn't it great he's all over the pitch again
  11. Gary Neville is right 'Chelsea are a superb team, but there is no one in the team who sees it as their job to score goals' Imagine this lot with prime Drogba....
  12. Honestly think we stand a better chance on Tuesday now
  13. Wouldnt disagree with that. Just watched them beat Man U - but what all their players have more than ours is aggression, which, comes down to coaching
  14. Jeez we're hurting here. It's called passion - some of the players could do with it and definitely Harry the Wizard
  15. It's not that we are sleep walking into mediocrity, we're there. The longer it goes on then it will become the 'norm'. The Abramovich era will be looked back on as the Golden era by historians.
  16. Honestly believe we'd be better off with no manager at the moment
  17. Fucking atrocious - love Kova and Chilwell but couldnt hit a barn door today. We had another No 8 who would have had a hatrick today and buried all 3 chances. So fucking annoying that could see this coming a mile off. Every Prem team thinks they can fuck Chelsea now, they can, and they're loving it
  18. City will now do what they do best with the keep ball. We do it well as well, but without the scoring bit
  19. 4th official. What are they there for ? Seemingly just to act as a buffer for the ref to get abuse from managers. The FA should issue them with de luxe latex gimp masks
  20. Salah scoring against the run of play should liven things up... 0-1
  21. It's like they are being deliberately provocative
  22. People are underestimating Lyon - most successful womens team in the World since 2010
