What's wrong with that? I even put my money on it. Obviously I pray to God that I wont win any money and that Chelsea will win but I'm also being realistic here and that's why I will most likely be a rich man after this game. Everton is awesome at home, simple as that.
-
I also knew from the start that we would (are going to) loose this game. History tells, and Everton is a good team home. United couldn't beat them either so it's not a shame.
-
I saw what you did there! Today he got a rest at least. It seems like noone on this forum knows where he was during the game.
-
Neither do I. I just hope we finish in top 3 (or 4, but I would like us not to play qualification matches for CL). At least I have to see what we can do against an Everton side at Goodisons before I start dreaming.
-
haha, yeah, obvious is obvious. It's always easier if u lead by more goals! Btw. Luiz played good today. To me (well, and Goal.com player ratings aswell) he was motm. Made a lot of good tackles, won many balls in the air, and he made some very very good passes going forward. I remember the through ball to Cole, it was very good.
-
And we also have the Musonda brothers. Chelsea is one big familiy!
-
Yeah.. not enough information to make a good guess.
-
Is he reliable? Could be Chelsea and Atl. Madrid talking about Falcao unless it's earlier champions of the CL
-
When did u see him?
-
Maybe he was linked with us earlier but earlier this year we were also linked with Lewandowski. My point is that things happen behind the scenes - especially at Chelsea - so the papers don't know that much. But yeah, I know what you mean - it's better to focus on the player we are most likely to sign but I'm just saying that you can't say never and you never know. Another thing is that Falcao said that he wont leave Madrid this season. Still we are talking about him because many people hope to see him at the Bridge regardless of what he said
-
Well, just because we aren't in for Cavani or Lewandowski according to the papers doesn't mean we wont go for them. The papers don't know that much. Who ever read about the Marin move in the papers? Noone.
-
Agreed! Dorgba all the way. On a serious note... If I would choose anyone in the world (well, not Messi and Ronaldo) I guess I would go for Cavani. After him Falcao. Cavani is such a beast imo. On the other hand I don't want the club to spend 50 mio. on a player come this january. For this coming month I would also go for someone cheap. He still needs to be quality though, and the hard part is to find a quality striker who is available for at decent price :/ Higuain maybe...?
-
Well, yeah you might be right. But it's a fact that we will get a new striker come this january and it should be a pretty good striker who can compete with Torres (should be easy for a new striker) and then Benitez is going to play him (otherwise the fans will be pissed)
-
wuuuh, I'm turning into a little kid atm. I dont care about any presents for christmas eve, I'm just excited about the fact (it's a fact after what Benitez said) that we will get a new striker. Now one can only dream about our potential targets. Good stuff..

And he turns 27 in february btw... I want a striker in the age bracket 23-25 :/
-
Yeah, the sturridge deal would be good business for Chelsea. I just think that it would be a bad move not to sell Torres if we want to sign Falcao. Torres is making too many complaints when he is not playing and he has a bad effect on the team like last year with Drogba. It wont be healthy for our team if we keep Torres and sign Falcao. Besides, he is too expensive in wages so the best move is to sell him if we sign Falcao. That's the only wise move imo. Edit: otherwise we should play them both at the same time like RvP and Rooney. At least they both speak spanish, so Torres can't use the language as an excuse It would be sexy in Fifa 13 though...
-
Guys, dont get your hopes high. I'm pretty confident we wont meet his release clause in the january market and Atletico wont sell him for less than the clause - that's for sure. I'm pretty sure we will get another striker but Falcao is just unrealistic imo. Too many things have to add up. Atletico might go to CL next season, we might dump out of top 4 (see it from his view), we need a buyer for Torres for this to happen, and we need to be willing to splash the cash on a striker which has failed many times before. We should change strategy and try a cheaper version. Maybe it will work better than these fantasy signings.
-
On the other hand we will have a lot of options going forward with Lamps and Ramires. I guess Ramires will stay a little bit back and help our guys in the back.
-
Aw, that's a shame. Well, I'm not gonna watch that game then Thanks for the answer.
-
In Denmark they show the Swansea-Boro match tonight so I really hope that Josh will play the game tonight. What do you guys think, will he play? I haven't seen much of him since his move so this would be a good chance to get a look at him against a very good opponent.
-
I didn't watch the game - how did Corinthians play? How far away from our level if we meet them in the final?
-
Guys, we are out, but hey.. shit happens! No team has ever won CL 2 times in a row so at least we get rested legs instead of going out in the next round (we would with our general play). At least we smash the Danes (well, I live in the Nordsjaelland area but it's still Nice ) and that's what we could do. Things aren't going the way we hopes but we are still champions of Europe and better times will come. Up Blues! <3
-
I don't like Benitez but I don't understand how some people act like they wont support him and because of that the team. We all want the best for team and the only way we are going to win matches is if we support the head of the team - the manager. I will always support any manager. You might not agree with some decisions but it doesn't help not to support the manager and the team. That's for sure.

Fucking Shaktar is a fucking disgrace against nordsjaelland, they scored one of their goals on "a fair play" Ball where Willian gave a long Ball to the Danish keeper after a fair play situation and then Adriano takes the Ball and scores. Fuck him im so pissed!
