Hazard is a nice guy and a bit of a joker but i fear for his response. This kind of thing meant the end of his relationship with the former national coach (cfr. the hamburger incident). Public criticism doesn't really fall well. Also communication 101: never give individual feedback in public. I train that shit to managers all over the world, its no different in sports.

I will put the question right back and start at the beginning: why was Eden on the pitch? Especially after an injury? Those are Mourinho decisions. A leader takes responsibility. You win as a team, you lose as a team.

Again I refer to the penalty plus the lack of attacking contributions from others (or did you find the passing % of the central midfield adequate for a semi final for example). It is much more than just one piece of the machinery not functioning. It was more like general failure sparked by several individual mistakes - not just Hazards. Though he played one of the more visible roles (together with the completely ignored eto'o)

I for one - again - am not defending. But: criticising Hazard does not automatically imply you have to stick up for Mourinho. It is like saying 'evolution is wrong, so the bible is right'. Hazard fucked up, so did Mourinho imo. What is the deal with that statement. Or do you think he put up a tactical masterclass?

I agree with most, but I truly believe that as much as it is a must to have a critical eye on players (eg. Hazards nonchalant negligence that cost us), it is also a must to apply the same amount of 'criticallity' to the manager. Somehow there seems to be much more an Omerta on that, much more than on the criticizing of players.

As much as Chelsea isn't Hazard FC, it isn't Mourinho FC either. Don't have double standards.

Most of us aren't saying he is immune to criticism. I do have a real problem with the 'he sucks, sell him' kinda vibe that went on here yesterday. He still is young, should have defended better, but we went down as a team as well imo. So focussing on Hazard as THE reason we got kicked out of the CL is somewhat daft.

He says Chelsea isnt set up to dictate/make the game, but rather to play a counter style like Real or Bayern. That is all.
