Im actually not defending anyone really, LOL. But some things are put in the guys mouth a bit overzealously in my opinion on this forum. There is simply no denying that fact at all.

I don't believe that for a second tbh Skipper. At least I never heard him say that in any of the interviews. It is kinda what this forum made of it all though. I would be happy to swallow my words if any of you can provide the interview in which he actually claims to 'deserve to be the undisputed number one striking option at Chelsea'. Still, i am a number one fan since he was still a kid - but i am thoroughly dissapointed by his lack of proactiveness in a game. I call it lack of the Robben factor. He is so laid back - not lazy, i do not believe that for a second - that he lacks a sense of urgency while playing. It is as if he says: my genius comes when it comes, we will see - while i believe he needs to make it happen and not wait for it. Anyway ...
