  1. I feel a double standard though .... See your post on the Oscar thread. Hazard played like a boss. Period. Even when it was Cyprus. He needed it cause it was way overdue in the NT shirt. So stop it.
  2. To answer: no. But he got some minutes in which he showed his worth. I do expect him to be a coming man. [emoji7]
  3. You all (some) forget one hypothesis (shared by some guys on the team btw): KDB just had a slightly lesser game, while Eden stepped up. if you automatically assume this is because of incompatibility between the two, you are well primed and biased by media and pundits. I think its BS. They have been playing and performance together since youth NT teams. Is it Wilmots? It could be something else: Hazard having a Rocky start at the NT ( eg the hamburger incident, etc), which untill now has its effects on him at the NT. It is quite revealing he broke his bad spell after having a Mou period in which he got pushed to improve, take responsability, etc. KDB had the NT as an outlet ever since Wilmots: hence confidence boost, which he has shown (he dropped form in the NT when he got benched here). Both are awesome, but the 'we cannot play together' meme is utter BS. It will be falsified soon, now Eden AND KDB are hitting form. Eden runs 13+ km's and KDB tops it even. They both work hard and have compatible skillsets. Just because they had ' life events' interfering with form, doesnt mean they cannot do it together.
  4. This. Some on the forum need to get laid. It will reduce the chronic moaning. Really, I mean it.... Stop making this forum so toxic.
  5. More than nice tbh. Three-four guys trying to catch the ball from him there. He just follows it through and drops it in so controlled. *drool*
  6. Yup, he played like a real boss (Fellaini as well). Took the team by the hand and almost all actions went through him. He is really getting on another level in teams of leadership, taking responsability and consistency. The hand of Mou is clearly there.
  7. Lol no worries. Let's see next tuesday. [emoji12]
  8. Indeed. If that rumour holds any value ... I would welcome him back in a beat.
  9. Quite the cynical post, mate [emoji18]
  10. Its also interesting that while his 'on target shots percentage' is so high, his touches inside the box is off the charts AND he has a history in Lille for scoring/being a bit more selfish and thus scoring, now he tones that down. Ever since he got here. I think he reaaaally WANTS to be the facilitator at a big club. Remember his leadership prototype: Zidane. I think that speaks for his views and also his path for his own idea on his development. Mou seems to agree on this all, and he was right to say Eden had to be more dominant in games, and consistent. If you are not Ronaldo and Messi, develop the nice in which you thrive. I can see Mou moving him to a 'kinda' 10 more and more.
  11. Well, its not always hindsight for those that have followed KDB a couple of years. Eg: in october when people were seriously going over the top: That is NOT hindsight, that is knowing/recognising a player that has confidence issues due to bad people management. Also, saying the others were playing way better is also not true.Go back on the forum around this period and see the Schurrle, Mata, Oscar comment then. José chose his untouchables even then and KDB was NOT one of them.
  12. We do have major dip. Mou seems to react in a conservative way, which is what conservatives do: rely on the backbone of the team and guard the defensive automatics. In this stage, i can accept it. We need to win the league. But, as you implied frequently, and it has truth in it, we need to have an attacking plan as well, Mou being shit in some tactical situations (the PSG thing still bothers me.), and some serious leadership issues on young player management is a burden. The motivational aspect, it looks a bit off. Our guys look like they are afraid to fuck up, they look scared a bit. Leadership is key here. José is a great manager, but i also think his % of guru-ism' is a tad high.
  13. He has done really well. Its between him and Hazard in my book.
  14. I agree, he overly relies on his old school discipels. It has an advantage, but when off form like now, it screams rigidity.
  15. We could still use him. He has done us right, two times poty.
  16. True. No matter the foreplay, his decision was bad to say the least. How he pulled himself up by the hairs is what makes up a winners/champions DNA. So, we have a bipolar case: biggest fuck up, but also motm material. Id like him to show more, he is Chelsea material, no doubt.
  17. I did a Straffe Hendrik limited edition, now going for the sicilian white nom nom nom
  18. You ok ron? Id have some wines if i were you! [emoji106]
  19. I crave good football, but we need this win. With our form and confidence down the drain, im so happy Remy saved us. We can do this, the title will be ours! I have faith.
