Actually .... this is all too true guys. Since my phd was on evolution and psychology I come across a lot of these blind morons. When I was in the States I once gave a talk on evolution in Nebraska and one in Tennessee and almost got burned by an angry religious freak mob. Also, here in Ghent we have a society Ichtus (dutch protestants) that do exactly the same. If you think this is wack - it isn't. Google 'Scopes trial' - people (not only in the States) are very busy lobbying to get evolution out of the Biology curriculum. Creationism (or scientific creationism - Moehahahahahahahahaha sorry - as they call it is going on in Holland, Belgium, USA and is gaining momentum in Muslim countries as well). I tried doing pubic debates with creationists but to no avail. They just disregard facts and turn to 'faith'. Cognitive dissonance in its full glory!! So yes. The end of knowlegde is near.
