  1. Ah it's not that bad. You'll also get people who say that it can be less boring than football (soccer) :censored:, but it's really whatever you're into. It's more local too, like there's four or five football clubs in Dublin but none other than Athlone Town and Longford Town in the midlands. The League of Ireland isn't popular enough either so that wouldn't help. Inter-county Gaelic players put a lot of work into training as well, so I doubt they would be that bad at soccer or rugby if it came down to it.
  2. When I saw it first, it reminded me of this season's Spurs kit in green and white. I completely agree with you about the sponsor though.
  3. I doubt this thread will get much use since there's only a few people here with an interest in it and the sports are only really played in Ireland. If anyone does want to discuss Gaelic football or hurling or even has any questions, then here is the place for it.
  4. Wolverhampton Wanderers - Home
  5. Never got to see them play myself, but I did follow their scores for a few years before the end of the club. The way the club ended proves what you're saying really, as well as the fact they had such a lack of support in the county itself. One of their goalkeepers did end up playing for the Gaelic team though.
  6. Conor Clifford and Rhys Taylor have also joined.
  7. I'm not sure of the story (if there is one at all that is) behind the Inter Milan one, but Celtic on both their home and away incorporated '1888', the year the club was founded, into the shirt. Similarly, the Marseille away this year features a kind of graffiti design that incorporates different aspects of club culture and players apparently.
  8. Can I put my name forward for this? I've been around here for two and a half years now and do spend quite a bit of time on TalkChelsea, even though I only began posting last May, so hopefully I'd be able to help out in some way. I'll admit though my contributions haven't been great so that might be a problem. If not, then my vote also goes LDN Blue, who has been a great contributor to the forum over the past year he's been here, and one of the most active too.
  9. Yeah, it will be interesting to see if anything will come of that, but it probably will end up being like LDN said, a quote taken out of context.
  10. I really liked the 10/11 shirt, but my favourite was the 06/08 one. The Umbro centenary was also pretty impressive.
  11. First game in the TC Premier League is against the current champions, Clevemayer's UpTheChels.
  12. It actually isn't the Dutch flag, even if it may look like it. Red and white are on the Hamburg city flag and as far as I know they've been wearing it on their home kits for quite a while now. Blue is another one of the club's colours. Bayer Leverkusen - Away
  13. Heart of Midlothian - Away Inter Milan - Home (Leaked)
  14. So I'm guessing this will be my only time at the top of the TC Premier League.
  15. I said no, based on the fact that I don't have a way of paying. However I do agree with those who have said that it helps with the upkeep of the site, and that £5 is more than reasonable for the year. There are some very good ideas there, such as the shoutbox and email address ones. On the whole negative rep thing, was that not abused by about two people just over a number of times?
  16. I use servimg and haven't had a single problem so far. I had used Photobucket a couple of times but like .sum41 said, it does lower the quality of images.
