Why start Torres, this is the perfect game for Ba and he's in great form; makes no sense. Hoping Oscar drops into a more central midfield role alongside Ramires and Lampard.

I think he'd do well if he was given time, he gets the best out of his players. But he wouldn't get time here so we are probably better to go for a manager with CL experience and who would be happy to only be here for a season or two at most. We really need a manager like Moyes who would be here for a few years, but unless the manager wins the league or CL he's going to get sacked. It's probably going to take a few more years for Abramovich to run out of managers before he realizes there's no one better available so he just sticks with whoever is in charge.

Makes you question why we have so many good players out on loan and not being played. Surely Lukaku has more to offer off the bench then Torres, pretty sure De Bruyne would have more of an impact then little Marin. Essien, McEachran and even Malouda could help us out in midfield, didnt have a single central midfielder on the bench last night, it looks like our weakest area. Could do with returning to 433 for a bit as well I think, not convinced we have the holding midfielders for our current formation.

I think he'd still be unproven even if he's successful at Bayern, he will inherit a great squad and should easily win the Bundesliga and probably will do well in the Champions League without the expectation to win it every year. Can't blame him for taking the easy job where he should have instant success. This Chelsea squad has some good young players but Mata and maybe Ramires aside no one really at their peak. Would've taken a couple of years at least I would've thought to get us winning the league.

Last season you could maybe blame the service, although we still had Mata for creativity. We brought in 3 creative players and the problem is still Torres. They aren't all only good at 1 position, Mata and Hazard are primarily wide players who can play more centrally, Marin is a winger-his time spent failing to replace Ozil as a central attacking midfielder was part of then reason they sold him; Oscar is the only true central attacking midfielder and he's pretty good played wide or in a deeper role.
