I think the problem is, if we progress onto the next round, we may probably face ajax. We need some experience in attack, unfortunately in our situation atm we have Ba, who is cup tied; and Torres, who is more interested in being offside and moaning. If we still had Lukaku we would using him in the Europa League. Feruz hasn't been loaned out yet, which is what is needed for him to progress as a player, thus gaining experience towards the top level.

On top of that, the fact that Chelsea TV keep saying that 'he is doing really well in training' are just excuses that we've all gone past the point of being tired at! On the match - I thought Marin played okay, Oscar's goal was good, and once again the moaner was having a 'good' game by Rafa's standards. I feel a bit of sadness for giving up on Torres. But so far I feel, he hasn't lived up to the hype he portrayed to the media in the summer about finally getting service via the purchases of Hazard and Oscar; as well as being the 'main man' now that Drogba has left. Sadly from his performances I felt that he has lacked a desire for Chelsea compared to the rest? (However if he is able to turn things after his suspense then we'll all be eating our words!) But I think he will sold, maybe in the Falcao deal to return to his beloved club Atletico Madrid.

Positives : Mata got a rest Luiz was the boss in defence Sturridge and Moses played some good football, when they came on. Things to Improve on : Could we please try the combination of Hazard-Oscar-(and later on Mata)-Moses. I think that should've have been the formation. Ramires needs to play in the middle. Romeu needs to have some game time Lampard still thinks he's an attacking midfielder. Torres' attitude annoyed me, he states to the media that he has learned from last season but storming off in frustration fair enough, but try to have some respect for the club, manager, players and for the fans. And please play like you mean to play football, largely in the second half, we lacked presence... However I have a feeling that another attacking option will come down to the deadline day - we need someone who will play out on the wings and not focus to much in the center, as we're packed in that role (Mata, Hazard, Oscar); and someone who can cope with the physical side to the Premier League.
