I like how in the after-match interview he refused to take responsibility, the board have got to put back some sense into him that top 4 is THE priority....but then again the FSW will ignore that and continue to make his cv 'impressive'

Same, may have to jump onto the bandwagon! This years glastonbury line up is so so.
-
I might have missed this but, in the Spanish news it's stated that Mourinho may be dropping Casillas? Does anyone have the full story?
-
It's getting ridiculous!
-
Aren't they good live or what? Saw them at glastonbury back in 2007! Epic show
-
@FullEnglishBreakfast very insightful articles; and a lot of interesting points raised!
-
It's crazy if the result was the opposite we would still be fighting for 2nd place! Lesson learned never take a small squad into the league - too long and tough!
-
hahaha great phrase!!

IF Mourinho does sign for Chelsea next season, these arguments which led to his departure have to be sorted out before hand. I'm sure both men have gained experienced ( I personally believe Roman does want stability at the club - patience is his weakness!), and learned lessons. But then this is football - anything could happen!

Guys calm down!! Mean's that its obviously Uniao de Leiria he's going to coach!!

Cannot resist Harrods Trying to figure what eggs to buy for his omelette!

It's the Hulk media circus all over again. I do feel that Lukaku will be brought back next season ( as well as De Bruyne); hopefully Roman has come to senses and sells the former goldilocks. Which leaves us with Ba and Lukaku, maybe looking at other alternatives e.g. Lewandowski. I think Falcao is a great player, but I don't want the board to pay a lot of money for a striker, when we have great potential in our youth
-
Hopefully Jose will make Roman include conditions into his contract if he becomes our manager. There's always been whispers of his return, but they are a lot louder now this season! Come home!! Oh, just out of interest, what do you think is Jose's 'favourite' former team? I would say us or Inter, but I think we just edge it

@snap_kaka_pop A reporter trips on a step at Stamford Bridge. "Yellow card!" someone says behind us. It's Juan Mata, giggling. #Europa League
-
I'll take either Lazio, Basel or Fenerbahce please. Although knowing UEFA, it's probably either Newcastle or Tottenham.
-
His contract is up in 2014; but being a one man club I wonder if he'll try to persuade the board to give him an one or two year extension? As well as the amount of injuries he had may have started to catch up on him, hence reducing his future playing career.
-
Depending what Chelsea turns up I feel its going to go either. But shall remain positive (unless I see a Luiz/Cahill partnership; and a former goldilocks)! KTBFFH BLUE IS THE COLOUR, FOOTBALL IS GAME WE'RE ALL TOGETHER AND WINNING IS OUR AIM SO CHEER US ON THROUGH THE SUN AND RAIN COS CHELSEA, CHELSEA IS OUR NAME!!!!!!!! ITS THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!

I'm at the point where Jose is the 'only one' to take over, but he needs to get more control over transfers.

The worst European champions of all-time?
karaclouds replied to BlueLion.'s topic in Chelsea Articles
Great and interesting article! Having now sobered up, (a little bit!), I think the way we won our Champions League trophy was by the desire to never give - the classic case being the Napoli return leg- however in this current season it's gone. Sure you can say player power may have something to do with it (the sacking of AVB perhaps?). But overall the team isn't together, as mentioned earlier we are not playing as a unit, we lack the desire and the motivation. Last night's game, not a singular player showed that he wanted to play for Chelsea. Yes, there are times when players just simply are having a very good game, but that should only be a rare moment. During pre-season I hope the new manager that comes in has the authority to inspire players that they have to play for the club, for themselves and for the fans. (I also hope that we maybe are free of a former goldilocks by next season!)- 45 replies

Me and my dad went to see the game out in Romania. I'm a bit late in responding, but dear oh dear. The passion has gone! It got to the point where I started to question if Lampard wanted to play well for the club! The board needs to re-think their options, particularly for next season, because clearly this isn't the direction the fans want to go in! Dad's going to write a complaint to the board about that (and recent) performances. No spirt. No passion. No fight. Thank goodness for the wonderful Romania pubs!

I'm so sorry to hear. It's tough loving people that are so close to you, but you have to remember to celebrate one's life, and hold on to the wonderful memories that you had with those people. You will make it Let's hope Chelsea can finish strongly! KTBFFH!

I think you have to remember that this is Oscar's first season, particularly in a league that is of a higher physicality than La Liga. Some players adaptation may take longer than others; however as you can see in European games, Oscar is showing his attributes to the team. Of course, Mata's first season is an exception as it was so good, and the current one it's even better. But I'm confident under the right management and given time, Oscar will show his strengths to Chelsea in the Premier League. I will say this - the amount of times he runs back to defend compared to Hazard and Mata is great - good work ethic!

Hey Everyone, having just noticed the new members bit I thought I would introduce myself properly. I'm Taylor, but my username 'karaclouds' is for my mum who passed away when i was child. She was a huge Chelsea supporter, as well as Dad; so I guess, I've only just got blue in my blood, since the day i was born I'm originally from England, but live in Australia now. So my introduction after nearly a year of getting membership; as I've just return from a six month to Ghana, where there was no internet, but a lot of Chelsea supporters in the towns! Well would love to meet all of you in our community that is Chelsea! Thanks!
