  1. we struggle to find the net for 70 minutes, now it looks like we score for fun. Willian for Mata really changed the game. he worked great to set free Oscar and now scored an absolute scorcher
  2. what a goal by willian. amazing sub by mou
  3. wow that was lucky. what a shitty shot of hazard
  4. Mata was mediocre. Now Willian can prove his point
  5. if Norwich play this clever, we haven't the means to break them up
  6. Hazard's shot is symptomatically for our play
  7. This is a real test of character. We could have easily won the game by now. If we still win it, it doesn't matter, if not our title challenge is over in October.
  8. was coming. We simply have to be more clinical
  9. cAN#T SAY IT WASNT COMING sry wrong thread again. it is a mistake in my browser which switches the headline not fast enough
  10. I never thought a game vs Norwich in such a usually untelling stage of the season could be that crucial. If we lose our title challenge might be already over. Not because we will be too far behind but because the mere thought of having 5 teams above us won't help our young players to retain composure. Liverpool's title challenge will end in winter, Arsenal's in march, but City can go all the way and we need to be up their all the time and lose no one out of sight. Atm we are only 1 goal better than Southampton. That is not because our program has been so hart but because we have not been good enough so far. We could have won at Goodison and OT if we had been more clinical or more courageous. This has nothign to do with the age of our players but with our lack of consistent finishing of our chances. The latter is not a technical problem but a mental one. If we see that addressed in the Norwich game we have nothing to worry about.
  11. Lamps FA Cup final 2009, at the heart of everything + epic winning goal Arne Friedrich vs Argentina World Cup 2010. Messi, Tevez, Di Maria, Higuain he had them all in his pocket all day long and still had time to make a run forward and score. Diego Milito vs Bayern Munich CL Final 2010 Alessandro Nesta CL Final 2007 Fabio Cannavaro vs Germany WM 2006 Lampard vs Man City September 2009, amazing goal and dictating the play with unfailing brilliance. Lampard vs Bayern Munich CL quaterfinal 2005 first leg. Absolutely demolished them.
  12. Ii is probably not "too much physicality" that would inhibit Lukaku's progress. It is rather the opposite. I think he could score even more when he would concentrate on his strengths. His power and his pace are his main assets and he should be more often in the centre of attack where he can outjump, outmuscle the defenders. He can be a worldclass striker. Surely not because of his talent or skills but because of his physique. If his stamina is a problem, i think that is the easiest to be worked on. He does not always score pretty and he is not hte most clinical of finishers, but he has scored 4 goals in 3 matches so far against all sorts of oppositions. Some finishes even were poor and should have been kept out, but fact is they ended up in the net and that is more than any of our other strikers who got 10 years more expereince have done so far. So if any of the 79 players that belong to Chelsea FC is capable of playing the striker role in the future, it is him.
  13. Yes ManU should sent Januzaj on loan as fast as possible. As a Chelsea Fan of 10 years, I know everything about how to promote talents and make them part of your squad. You have them, they perform, than loan them out where they perform, then bring them back for preseason and then immediately loan them out again. Cos that is how football works. You got a great young player, now send him away as far as you can. That is the only way you can incorporate him in your team. Tons of succesful examples. Sturridge, Stoch, Matic.
  14. Fit or not, Hazard should not play. Not on merit and neither has he the fitness to do so. I think we should play with about the same team that played the bigger part of the Steaua game.
  15. How can you reject a teen for being "too small". They gro unconsistently. Now, he is 18 and 1,85, 75 kg. Not big but decent for a footballer
  16. This reminds me of the Tal Ben Haim signing. Mou tends to fuck up those low-profile signings. Pizarro, Ben-Haim, Sidwell, Boularouz, Sahin the list is veeery long. I'm quite sure Otamendi -even though not that low profile because of the pricetag, but still would only be our 2nd CB backup- would fall into that category
  17. DAFUQ? too small, too slow, no Chelsea level. Everytime i have seen him he got destroyed which is quite strange considering he plays for Porto and Argentina.
  18. city could well have equalised here from their chances. Wonder what would have happened if they had played negredo, silva, milner from the beginning.
  19. best goal of the night comes from a city player though
  20. should have brought on silva waay earlier
  21. This is amazing. I don't like Bayern adn I don't like Guardiola, but the way they are playing is impressive. I wonder why no one else can play this football.
