Yeah but 35m is peanuts and maybe they fund it with a sale. Btw is Piatek now available or not?
-
What makes u so sure? Really hope tho. If it means Piatek is available then we should waste no time on Higs
-
No. Selling Diego was the correct decision. He was 29 and toxic and performed like shit the entire 2nd half of the season and really was an absolute nuisance banging on about his desire to go back to Atletico. We got 65m for him despite being in a weak position and he has been shite since. His sale was excellent business after Conte had fucked up. Nonetheless buying Morata was a mistake but that does not take away that selling Costa was correct.
-
Yup Golovin was a fuck up but a good one. Just recently missed an open net in Fabregas debut at Monaco. Paredes on the other hand i am confident we eiöl get done but it will drag om a few more days.
-
Irrelevant, sarri never rests Alonso😅
-
40m € is indeed a gift. The board is obviously too stupid to realize that opp. In summer Real and Juve will be all over him
-
CHO is gone, we should face it. And who gives a damn if he is 2nd choice after Hazard or after Willian, CHO will never be a starter here and he has his mind made up anyway. We can not play Hazard out of position any longer as long just to keep CHO. We need a striker badly.
-
would rather sign this Daigne guy for 20m than Higuain on any permanent deal. But the board seems hellbent on either Wilson or Higuain... I will never understand those lunatics.
-
Me 2. Jovic is the full package. Quick, combative, cool as ice in front of goal, can finish with his head, both feet, cleanly and dirty but only in the box. Werner is available in summer but i guess Bayern already have a pre-contract with him. If not he will got to Liverpool for sure. I think we have a really thin chance only if the others fuck it up somehow.
-
lol Haller surely not. He is like a carbon copy of young Giroud. Graet hold up play, good in the air, not very mobile, decent technique, average finishing and sometimes not enough involved in the game. I dont think we will be interested in him unless he steps up a notch Jovic is currently on loan, so probs unavailable in Jan but there will be a chance in Jun. Benfica are shit to deal with but usually Portugese clubs sell if the price suits them. Piatek I don't know if Real has turned his head or if there is an inside deal with juve or Milan but I think he would be attainable albeit super expensive.

I think you made your point very clear. And you maybe right. Maybe it is indeed the right thing to back one manager one philosophy no matter what. But i am dead cert the club will not have enough patience with Sarri and he will be gone before the end of the 2020 season and we will revert to another stop gap manager to win the odd title. And I dont mind actually. I dont give a shit about attacking or posession football. I enjoyed the power play of thr 2004 to 2010 squad and Conte counter attacking nuch more than i wouöd ever enjoy Sarriball or tiki taka. The only thing i would sacrifice short zerm titles for is blooding in youngsters from the academy..i hope we will at some point have a manager who is good at that
-
30m would bw fair imo
-
Joke of a board. The club is above that.
-
I am sure the club will not do it. The board is often wrong but not that plain stupid. They will not pay 75m for Wilson either.
-
No idea why you are so obsessed with that. As I said just because other clubs do it, does not legitimize it. I just don't think it is smart from Bayern's perspective weakening an already weak league in the long term..not winning it this year makes it even more hilarious. The prem can handle it that's the difference. Anyhow, you won't change my opinion and I don't give a fuck about yours. So why don't you just piss off already to some plastic Bayern forum where you belong as you sooner or later will do anyway
-
The fuck you are talking about. Always this whataboutism..only because other clubs might do it too does not make it a better practice Buying fringe players from clubs in the same league for decent amounts or picking up 35y.o. free agents is not the same as telling rivals' major players to run their contracts down. You are always talking so much bullshit...no wonder you are a bayern "fan"
-
No one here freaks out about that. Would be completely sensible..but for Chelsea amd most english clubs the mentality is"Kostet nix kann nix" as we say in German.."if a player is not super expensive he must be shit." So we rather pay 50m for am average yet "proven" player than 30m for an up and coming one that might not stand the pressure. With Morata we managed to combine both downsides in one deal tho
-
If those are really the conditions then we need to pull the plug. 6m loan or bust. No one wants another has been lingering on too long. Sarri will hopefully not be around till 2020 anyway
-
That is bullshit. It depends on physical condition. There is not a magic barrier that you hit on when turning 28 as a left back and 29 as a left back. Some folks decline in their mid 20ies some in their mid 30ies and most in between based on various factors. You will find that some of the best fullbacks had their best seasons above 30. Ashley Cole and Branislav icanovic imo both had their best seasons aged 30-31. Zanetti was at his best way over 30 too. Maldini at 35, roberto carlos at 31-32. Philipp lahm at 30-31 i could go on.. just because there is no wc left or rightback over 28/29 right now does not mean there can not be..as there are enough past examples of fullbacks reaching their peak in their early 30ies. It is not all due to peak physical condition which often can be contained till the 30ies but also experience, anticipation and tactical skills which can be inproved at any age. Kyle walker the imo best rightback in the world is 28 and still getting better and i believe azpi has at least 3-4 years at top level left in the tank
-
Goretzka is like the tactically polished German version of loftus cheek. Good at everything, physically adn technically, but not really outstanding at anything. And moved to Bayern too early. A box-to-box midfielder like him in that team and that league is just wasted, i got no idea how he will improve there without changing his profile. No wonder he has stagnated for 2 years now.
-
fair enough. but i think you looked up all comps stats for those didn't you? in this case it would only fair to include hazards 2 efl cup goals too so he has 12 and 10
-
LOLZ. Azpilicueta is 29, that is a perfect age for a defender. And in Reece James's case he has contract till 2022 so we are in comfortable position not to lose him if we don't want. He's got another year or 2 to break into the team. what i could well imagine is that Sarri is not being used to having that big a roster to wath over so simply ignores our 39 loanees and just does not assess them during the season at all, just the ones he takes to preseason. which is really a shame cos i am sure both, james and even abraham could help us out right now.
-
and Alonso and maybe Jorginho who are both not the fittest. I don't think it is a too grave case of exhaustion as they only had to stand a few matches back to back recently but there are warnign signs and Sarri should see them early also because we have so much mediocrity in depth, rotating will not make much of a difference.
-
thats true but apart from Ballack and Lewandowski all those were not exactly amazing players. But true Bayern rape the rest of the bundesiga just to erase competition without noticing how they shoot themselves in the foot long term by doing so. The marginalization of the bundesliga also means a marginalization of Bayern which we are witnessing right now. I don't think sancho even looks this far ahead. (Don't mancity have a buy back clause anyway?) i just think he is so full of himself that he thinks he has found the holy grail and now wants all his english buddies to join him bundesliga. Still Dortmudn should make him shut up. A player has no business publicly discussing other club's transfer policy and undermining his own clubs interest in the process. Also both players favourite position is LW
-
that is hardly fair. Messi is probably the best player of all times, surely the best of the 21st century by a landslide, which I have to admit even though I dont like him. And Sarriball is obviously not a goalmachine and never was. His highest overall tally was 94 the year before last year and that even in Serie A is an ok but not outstanding number. City scored 106 last season. Last season Naples only scored a meagre 77 goals. What Napoli produced last season looked easy on the eye and good for highlight reels but obviously there were patches that were just as frustrating to look at as we are this season. And I don't think all the posession is a way of defence like the Del-Bosque Style. I think Sarri is just unable to find ways to break teams down or the team is unable to execute them. But back to Hazard. He obviously stands out bc we have a very average squad compared to what we had in the previous era and is the focal point of everything at Chelsea. Also currently in the EPL there is not that standout player but a few world class ones like Salah, de Bruyne, Silva, Agüero and Hazard. I dont even think those are much worse than the likes of mbappe, c.ronaldo or Neymar but they dont stand out as stars as much mainly because of marketability, competitiveness of the leagues, and more critical reception of public and press. Hazard, whilst world class for 6 years now has at no stage of his career bee a top5 player and never will be. His talent is second to only Messi i would venture but in terms of ambition, greed, hunger he lacks behind all those names mentiioned. I don't mind, he is who he is and he still might very well be the technically most gifted player in the history of this club. still if he is to become an absolute legend here he will do so by longevity, by seeing his peak out here and staying over a few more years. We will never forget how he carried this team to 2 epl titles albeit against mediocre competition, but I would always take peak Lampard and peak Drogba over peak Hazard. If Hazard leaves in summer it will hurt-short time but if we manage to overhaul the squad and find a decent manager he will not be missed for long. One final note is that we sadly will never find out how good Hazard would have been in a genuine quality side. I am not really sure if he has benefitted or been a victim of the huge abyss in quality between him and his fellow attackers but when you look at city they have 6,7 top class attackers so you see peeps like Sterling scoring as much as Hazard. To sum up, Hazard standing out so much si not only due to his remarkable (albeit not generational) quality but also to the lack thereof in the rest of the squad wrt going forward.
