We are deluding ourselves if we think this reflects a positive development. All these stats mean nothing unless there is progress in terms of goals scored. But the opposite is the case. we are a worse team than a year ago and the year before that. There is no excuse for wastefulness. It is a mental weakness. This group is mentally weak bc it is young and inexperienced and it’s getting younger and less experienced every transfer window. You overcome mental weakness by overcoming obstacles in your life over and over again. But these players are falling shorter of doing so every week. It’s not even their fault. There is almost no one there to learn from or to lead. Every new signing is just looking left and right and seeing a player who is just as clueless. They look up and see a clueless management throwing money around. They go to the treatment room and get some gym bro level medical care from some person who is there courtesy of being pals with the foo fighters. our rebuild which now has been dragging on in episodes for at least 5 years is one of the biggest bottle jobs in the history of football. And make no mistake the worst is yet to come.

You got a point. Poch set up is clearly trying to leverage that experience we have left with building around Silva, Sterling and Chilwell but to no avail.

Completely losing the plot already. Amazing master plan of transforming the preseason buzz into complete misery in just a couple of weeks with his negative Tactics. I don’t think so. Can easily see us being mid table for the next 5 years or beyond. Maybe Todd will at some point take the L and just sell us to someone with a plan or some players will emerge stronger out of this prolonged hell but there is no guarantee. We might well be finished fas a top club for decades . There are just no competent leaders at this club with very few exceptions. Newbie squad, newbie board, clueless managers and the only proven winners on their last leg. Everything else is just here based on luck, circumstance and a couple of decent games but on a mission to collect everything pay check of an insane 8 years contract

Broja ‘ s one elite attribute was his pace and that is now gone with his ACL (or rather with his hamstring tendon that they transplanted there) . just look at how slow chilly has become after his ACL surgery I did not expect some crazy goalscoring season. Or anything special at all. But this shit show is far below even my modest expectations . It is as if the new management has completely ripped out all heart& soul of this club and killed its mentality. We are now stuck with a bunch of overpriced talented losers with their confidence wiped and the worst possible manager to do something about it.

He does not need time. This is his level. He is a bottler. Fine he got spurs to a CL final bc there was no pressure. He had us play a great preseason bc there was no pressure . All he had to do was have us play a bit of attacking footy vs shit teams to get the hype going and he failed at the first hurdle

The club will still exist . The women’s team is great. The youth teams produce excellent talent which we can auction off for the highest bidder. But the senior men’s team is just pathetic. Just close them down for a couple of years and then build anew . Maybe this will lift this curse or not but at least this half assed shit here would stop

They are almost the exact same type of player, that much was clear before we signed him . we are absolutely 2nd best for every contested ball. So soft and weak omg NJ is also Werner in disguise

Let’s face it. Poch is just as clueless as our last 3 managers with his gazillion defenders set up vs relegation fodder . We exchanged 300m of attacking talent with another even younger 500m of young attacking talent for them to lose all confidence and rhythm sitting on the bench until we call them all shit. It’s not even a surprise. Luton and Wimbledon that’s the kind of teams we can beat but every average PL team has more than a chance vs us. The whole team looks disjointed , we have no creativity with those two attackers. Almost Everybody around midfield and back is always good for a shocking error

1st goal in 44games as usual vs us. Caicedo and Gallagher a solute clownshow thru the mega of silva and Sanchez not exactly great either

1 goal. His only ever international goal btw. What a great sample size. Talking about blind chicken … moving him further away from goal will make our midfield more creative and open a free slot for an actual attacker so Jackson is not all by himself.

Can this shit with Enzo as an attacker please stop? including having him on freekick duty . He is a pathetic shot, plain and simple. Can’t score a goal to save his life . Yet we work him into free shooting positions time and time again only for him to blast over. I know he is amazing everywhere else and our biggest star possibly. but just play him where he is best. As DLP. No need for two DMS beside him.

Lineup as expected. This weird lopsided formation is driving me nuts. Sterling, Enzo and Chilwell all playing slightly out of position is such a mad move. Not starting with only having 2 offensive players vs fkin Nott forest. You can tell it will be another festival or wasted chances by Enzo and Chilly with sterling producing tons of turnovers. Still expect us to win tho. Everything else would be unacceptable. I just hope, when the rest of our attackers are fit again, Poch changes this. Cos we sure as hell should not have Nkunku and Sterling competing for that RW spot which has them both on their weaker foot cutting inside.

Get a grip, who is gonna buy Mudryk? Rumours is probably complete BS. he has like a billion left in book value and we need to collect like 50m+ not to realize a massive loss here. No one is gonna pay that. Maybe he would profit from a loan but then again who loans out a 100m player after half a year.
