The main difference between Oli and Tammy is that Oli does not do much in a game but what he does, he does well. Tammy does a lot in a game and does some of it well. It makes Giroud the more efficient player but also more predictable. Like Tammy would not have scored Giroud's goal vs Wolves and Leeds, Giroud would not have scored Tammy's goals from yesterday (first post, first serve).

All three have their place in the squad but I woudl rather see Werner coming on from the bench vs tired legs than him being played out of position.

tbf he has got plenty of chances here as well. strikers usually have streaks where they cant hit a barn door. today he had 2 he should have scored no matter how average the pass was. also his movement isnt as good as earlier in the season sonaturally he does not get more chances rn. My feeling is his confidence was shot when our NT lost to Spain baldy. he hasnot been the same since he returned. he needs a bit of rest as he also looks knackered. mentally more than physically that is. 2 matches from the bench. he will surely score in the fa cup 3rd round and will get goin again as long as he is fresh

true azpi was great himself. i actually think we might have won vs wolves with azpi. there is no way he would have allowed podence and neto so much space on the right channel and ventured so much forward.

Lampard didnt inspire confidence today but it still worked out just fine. It was not exactly great to watch and our attacking play was mainly balls hoofed upfield or some really shitty deflections and balloon passes falling our way. Still, we kept our shit together in defense and limited wham to half chances.

we failed to get a clean sheet when playing like shit everytime this season till today. We would probably have won vs Wolves with today's defending on the right side. Winning when playing badly is the mark of champions but withstanding the pressure when low on confidence and match fitness while making the best out of our few chances is commendable even if we are far from being such.

Yup. Ziyech, Puli and Tammy should be our front 3 vs Arsenal. Provided Ziyech is matchfit. Werner is such a confidence players its ridiculous.

Kovacic's ability to beat men makes opposition players back off him so there are more spaces in midfield. the only other player in our squad with this ability is Puli and maybe CHO. Usually a top team has at least 2 of these playerson the pitch and the immediately see the difference

Consistent is not the word i would use. He took a fairly large number of shots at ajax, sth like 7 per game even from positions where there were multiple teammates ahead of him. i am quite happy he cut that from his game a bit but if deployed deeper he might get into more auspicious positions.

He is only 21 tho. And who better to coach a player to become a finisher and creater in the no. 8 role than Lampard himself. I think Havertz current image of himself is that of the classic elegant no. 10 who is not really involved in the game all the time but pops up with a flash of brilliance every now and then. And this kind of player is not fit for Enlgish football or modern football in general
