Why would a player leave a club and join us then? Your argument is madness - people leave clubs all of the time regardless of how 'well' they are doing!!! Yeah - personal - I've seen shit loads of posts WORSE than my so called BAD BEHAVIOUR in a match thread where we lost the CWC and emotions running high - but those people don't have Warnings!!! Er... people don't always work their arse of... That's the reason you have 'Managers'? Human nature (except oddoties) dictates if you can expend less effort in achieving something, then you will... It goes back to the days of hunter/gatherer - why run 100 miles to get food if you can run 1 mile... Not sure what you do for a living - but I manage a team of 40 Masters Educated Developers - and they sitll have to be cajooled into working to the best of their ability every day, why would a 'professional' footballer be any different. Mourinho was not sacked for 'results' - it was a well publicised bust up... BUT he could seemingly motivate a team to win consistently, and to instil a belief into a group of players that went on winning, long after he departed. I don't think Rafa does this... Certainly Liverpool haven't gone from strength to strength? In fact quite the opposite... He should never have been appointed is my 'balanced view' after giving him a chance, but he's here until the summer and then we need to make a decision... If he stays, it will (IN MY OPINION) be to the detriment of the club. Pep G can say what he wants about RB and Capello - but I would never pick either of them to be Chelsea managers... And Pep is not going to openly critisice other managers...

Really? We're a few more injuries/suspensions away from fielding 'no-name' players... Our Board has royally fucked up - putting everybody out on loan... There's also the risk that Mikkel or Moses get injured in AFCON... Plus, if someone is playing shit, we have no backup for them. I just dont get how you (or anybody - not personal mate ) that we have enough depth... We've been playing like dogshit - a team in 9th has dominated us... I think we need to take the 'blinkers' off and see what's really happening here... Spurs finding form, Liverpool (shockingly) finding form - Utd + City well clear of us now, Everton continuing to be hard to beat (man if they had a striker I'd be worried) - so we could easily lose 4th place again...

I'm not insulting him, I'm critiscising him Ok the odd FSW comment might pop-out now and again - but I really like that name Condensing my arguments: he's interim, I don't think that demands the same level of respect from the players, yes they should be professional, yes they should be motivated - but we live in a world where coulda, shoulda, woulda, are all too familiar! I also don't believe he's making the best use of the options available to him, he's not trying anything different and for somebody lauded as a tactical genius, his 'in-game' decisions IN MY OPINION have been poor... So yes, players to blame as well as Rafa - in fact the whole of Chelsea is to blame for ruining my season thus far I just hope we (royal we) learn from this, put a line in the sand and move forward. Still haven't seen anything from you concerning how his tactics were correct and why I'm wrong to criticise him? Notice you conveniently skip that 'Some might say, you can't put your money where your mouth is...'

Well as Chelsea fan, my money on merchandise and attending games goes to the club, so YES I am paying for him, also devoting all of my spare time to watch Chelsea play, suffer the frustration of shitty web streams when not on Sky or UK ESPN... So my investment into Chelsea - allows me to judge his performance - and as an investor, I'm not impressed...

Like everything, that's MY opinion on the tactical failings of our line up and approach to games. If we play through the middle ALL of the time and have no Plan B, the opposition can easily contain us, and they don't have to be top quality opposition! QPR, West Ham and Swansea have figured us out and they have 3 pretty sensible and astute managers, Redknapp, Allardyce and Laudrup - not the best coaches in the world, but smart enough to figure out our game plan! The fact that we played better in the first leg, pretty much proves this point - Laudrup would have studied that match over and over and tey then worked on an approach to 'contain' us - which they did well. Yes, our players didnt play well - but was that a sudden loss of form in the whole team, or were Swansea playing a disruptive game, that prevented our players, playing to their strengths? If AS I BELIEVE (MY OPINION) that was the case, then it was up to our Manager to anticipate that and mix it up, to defeat their preparations! But that's my point - we have nothing else, other than Rafas predictable line-up... He could have brought Luiz on earlier, played a 3 man defence, swamping the midfield. Instead he performed LIKE FOR LIKE SUBSTITUTIONS! = GENIUS But hey, if you think that's shit - happy to see your 'thoughts' on our failing to beat a mid table team over 2 legs

Hey, I wasn't totally Pro RB - I just though he deserved a fair chance! Well he's had that chance and countless others! Now - I just don't like him pure and simple. He's done nothing to convince me he's a great manager... As in life, the true test is, if it was your money would you hire him and sorry, I wouldn't... I'd have someone like Nigel Adkins in a heartbeat over Rafa....

I agree - but an 'Interim' Boss doesn't carry the same weight as a 'Real' Boss... One question - would you rather Mourinho or Rafa motivating the players for the Swansea game to overturn a 2-0 deficit? Therein lies my dilema - I just can't see Rafa giving that passion...

BUT it DOES make a difference.... If you have a 'temp' Boss - do you really give a fuck about what they say? - People expect him to be replaced, players are no different... THAT is the biggest mistake we have made - RB has fuck all power and the players know this... For a club previously lambasted for 'Player Power' - this situation is beyond comprehension.... The Board + Roman are to blame - our luck has run out and our past has caught up with us... now we find out the 'metal' as they say - how do we move it on from here. If it's Rafa - fine, make him Permanent and then see what happens... I just cant see that anymore though....

I'm not blinded by his past - I'm blinded by his failures as a Chelsea manager... We looked clueless again - yes the players are to blame as well, but he had a shit game plan that Swansea saw through. We actually played better 1st leg... He is not a tactical genius. He is a self serving wanker who should never have been appointed - he's in this for his CV and fuck all else... How can the players respect an Interim manager! A huge amount of blame should be levied at Roman too! We're at clusterfuck stage and only have ourselves to blame....

I know it's easy to pick a target - Torres / Rafa... Sure no one person is to blame, BUT the Manager should be the primary motivator, the glue that holds the team together... I just don't see that from Rafa, I didn't also see it from RDM to be fair... We need a big personality (not to be confused with a fat bloke) - somebody who can gel this team together and get them playing as a team... I really don't see Rafa doing that! This IMHO has been our worst season ever, so many chances to win something and ALL but gone... Sure we've had worse seasons, but there was never the expectation. We've gone from a team of winners, to a collection of Losers... The only plus point is that I hope Roman gets this through his thick Russian skull - that the manager merry-go-round has finally exploded in his face and he is 'Proper' fucked now!!! So he needs to learn patience... I would prefer a young, hungry manager - I still say Adkins - back to back promotions, excellent playing style and a decent bloke. He would instil a great work ethic and wouldn't play players for their Egos - just on performance... Look at his squad - probably assembled for less than Hazard cost.... Same with Swansea... Skill means fuck all without graft, desire and commitment!!! AND THAT COMES FROM THE MANAGER DOWN!

I wish it was that simple We only play down the middle - remember Arsenal a few seasons ago? That's us now!!! Easy to defend against... Even @Seb must agree the problem is that the opposition sits deep, no space, so our centre backs push on into the small amount of space 'halfway line' - as all players in front are marked, hardly ANY options, so the centre backs either 'dither' and lose the ball or try a crazy pass that gets cut out, or our attacking player cannot control, giving possession to the opposition to counter attack... That has happened SO many times I want to scream!!! Then Mata / Hazard / Oscar drop deeper and deeper and try tricks in midfield, instead of attacking third, lose possession and opposition counters... That is why we need to stretch play, use the full width of the pitch, have wingers on the touch line - opens space and pulls the opposition defensive shape. I know Moses missing hurts, but can anyone seriously say Marin would have been worse than Oscar? I just don't get it... RB is supposed to be a tactical genius, if I can see these problems as a 'developer' - with NO football qualifications, except Sunday league and Uni player. Then why can't he? It's just a shambles!!! What the fuck they are doing in training only God knows... And I'm not sure I even believe in him anymore....

Just frustrated with team selections - we're back to being one dimensional! We need width and pace - I think we also need Isco to give Mata a rest.. Oscar isn't quite cutting it and Mazacar or whatever it is called might work in FM or FIFA - but is absolute shite in real life... We need to get to the byeline and get balls across, otherwise too easy to defend against Marin should have started as the only genuine winger - but Benitez obviously doesn't like him! Again another failing from him, tactical genius? SWAP A DEFENDER FOR A DEFENDER TWICE WHEN WE NEED 2 GOALS!!! Seriously - he should be sacked for that alone! The bloke has no passion and that's transmitted to the players - we're just a collection of expensive flops at the moment! It's embarrassing!!! Hurry up summer - I can't take much more! SSN also reporting Real players threatened to leave if Mourinho stays!! WTF if he does leave, good luck to them, careful what you wish for, they could have Rafa as manager soon! LOL! Originally I said give him time, that's gone now - he's useless... Absolute garbage - I know I could do a better job!

Unfortunately it's 'intent' - you can be charged under law purely under 'intent'... Madness I know! His intentions were aggressive - bullshit I know, but that's what will happen. Eden is in for a tough time over the next few weeks, luckily he has JT (the expert) to help him out - but hope this doesn't make him think of playing outside of England. The English press are cunts and won't let him forget this in a hurry!!!
