  6. SERGIO AGUERO reckons he was born to be a Blue. The Atletico Madrid and Argentina striker expects to complete a £32million move to Chelsea in next month's transfer window. And if he plays the game anything like the way he talks it, he will be a smash hit at Stamford Bridge. Aguero has spoken for the first time about joining the Premier League leaders and insisted that he will quickly settle into English football. Why? Because Chelsea's style is perfect for the all-action Argentina forward and he cannot wait to play with 'the best players in the world'. He revealed: "Chelsea are interested in me because they think I can play an important role for the team. "And I think I fit with their style of play. "Of course I watch the Premier League on TV and I think it is the best league in the world, along with the Spanish league." 11. WHEN my son Shaun played for Chelsea, I would go to Stamford Bridge regularly. After a while, I stopped. The amount of moaning and complaining coming from certain sections of the stands was unbelievable. I'd never heard anything like it. In the end, it got to the point when I'd just had enough of it. My seat was near the players who were not involved. Just in front of us, there was one bloke who, win or lose, did not stop complaining. He was never happy, even with a convincing home win. 12. Chelsea are plotting a January swoop for West Ham goalkeeper Robert Green following a series of below-par performances from Petr Cech. With Cech off the pace, Chelsea have been alerted to the fact that Green has attracted firm interest from Sunderland and Aston Villa, who both want to do business next month, as the Daily Express revealed on Saturday. Cech, the Chelsea No1, was peerless in the Premier League before his skull fracture three years ago. Recently his indecision has led to a previously reliable defence shipping goals and conceding points. Blues boss Carlo Ancelotti has been reluctant to point the finger at Cech, but Chelsea have conceded 11 of their 13 league goals from set-pieces this season, proof enough that Cech and his defenders no longer have the kind of understanding that previously made them such an iron-clad outfit. Cech is getting caught in no-man’s land, either not advancing for balls in the box or coming out and being left stranded, and Chelsea are running out of patience. West Ham are almost resigned to losing Green and have alerted staff to search for cover. Manager Gianfranco Zola feels reserve keepers Marek Stech and Peter Kurucz lack the experience to go straight into the Premier League. A deal with Villa could lead to veteran Brad Friedel moving to West Ham while, at the other end of the age spectrum, Zola’s scouts are tracking Huddersfield’s Alex Smithies, 19, who has also interested Stoke. West Ham’s options as far as purchasing players is concerned appeared to have improved last night with the news that David Gold and David Sullivan have lodged a firm bid of £50million to buy the club. dailyexpress
  13. PETR CECH has launched a bitter attack on the Chelsea boo-boys. The keeper is furious with home fans who jeered after the 3-3 draw with Everton. Cech said: "I was very surprised to hear the boos from the crowd because this was our first Premier League draw at home all season. "Look at the games we have played here, in the league, the Champions League and the Carling Cup and you will see all the clean sheets we have kept and all the goals we have scored. "So I was really surprised to hear the supporters' reaction. Surprised because I don't understand it." Cech insists he should not be singled out for blame - despite all three Everton goals coming from set-plays. He said: "We lost a lot of the first headers. But it is not an individual responsibility at set-plays. It is collective."
