Ronaldo would be incredible of course it wont happen but if it was possible i wouldnt be overly happy about it as it would probably halt the development of Hazard having Ronaldo being the star man who everyone would have to give the ball to all the time. People keep saying its unfair to talk about Rooney's goals as he hasn't played as the main striker this season then people should stop bringing up his goal tally for this season as a way of arguing why we should sign him.

no he hasnt but its not like he isnt always in and around the box and in positions where he can score, If you completely ignore who Rooney has scored against this season you can say his stats are pretty decent but when you see where his goals have come from you can see its not all that impressive at all. Top teams Man City Chelsea Average Teams Fulham West Ham Braga Crap teams Reading Norwich Southampton Sunderland Stoke Not very impressive to me, plus when you factor in how many great performances he has actually put in this season against top teams! it really makes me wonder why people are so desperate for us to sign him!

yeah i was making the point that people on here are overrating Rooney with his stats this season, if i say Torres has 21 goals this season you will say yeah he has played like 60 games and almost all his goals were against pub teams, but with Rooney he also has score almost all his goals against 'pub teams' but because its Rooney that doesn't matter apparently.

they are pretty much pub teams when they play against united! basically every small team in the PL are scared of united and make things so easy for them! and most of Rooneys goals were scored at Old trafford as well where teams make it even more easier for them! I guarantee if you played the likes of Dempsey or Michu ect in place of Rooney they would have similar stats as Rooney has got at Old Trafford this season. oh yeah and when it comes to Torres they are all pub teams but when it comes to Rooney there are no pub teams in the PL.

exactly he just isnt consistent anymore! he had a great game against City in December scoring 2 goals but since then there are not many other stand out games from him if any.

i don't know why peoples arguments for Rooney is to show me his stats from last season! how about Torres stats the season before we signed him (22 goals in 32 games) or Shevchenko's (28 goals in 40 games) how did they work out? if you watched him play recently you would know he is in decline any United fan will tell you that, anyone who has actually watched him lately will tell you that! but yeah he scored goals last season so it only makes sense that next season the declining Wayne Rooney will score even more right??? :banghead:
