LOOOL are you serious??? you do realize Chelsea made it to the quarter finals in 2000 beating Galatasaray 5-0 in Istanbul, drawing with Milan 1-1 at the San Siro and beating Barcelona 3-1 at Stamford Bridge! We also won the European cup winners cup twice! in 1971 and 1998 as well as winning the Uefa Super Cup in 1998! So sorry to break it to you Chesea done a lot in Europe before Abramovich! certainly a lot more then PSG! and if Chelsea are not a top club in Europe then what on earth are PSG???

He was never at any point in his career the best striker in the world, Drogba and Villa were both better when Torres was at his best. I think the main issues with Torres were partly physical (losing his explosiveness) and the fact Chelsea never built a team around him and played to his strengths from the start.

players with pace on the counter are an even better asset for us in this game. Lampard will start on Saturday against Stoke not this game.

Vidal and Pogba could be a possibility as Serie A is such a weak league now, if they are ambitious then maybe a move here would interest them, but either way i think its worth us spending big on a world class CM and ST as that would make us one of the top 3 teams on the planet!

quite good isn't good enough though if we want to be the best in europe, I would much rather us sign someone like Vidal, Gundogan, Pogba, Kroos or Witsel as signing one of tem and World class Striker would make us a serious serious force in europe again, Luiz is a quality CB and a decent CM, we need more then decent to strengthen our midfield, when Lamps leaves.
