  1. you just compared players who would be bought as first team players to payers who would be bought as squad players...
  2. He would be a brilliant squad player, with his pace coming off the bench against tired defences and he has brilliant technique so will be able to take players on and retain possession against parked buses. very shrewd signing.
  3. The thing which worries me is the fact he didnt look good at Monaco before his injury either, he scored a few goals but he was no where as good as he was at Atletico, but having said that, part of me thinks his unimpressive performances at Monaco may have been down to playing in a average league with average players. every time i watched him at Monaco i always felt something wasnt right about him, maybe it was a lack of motivation, or maybe it was the start of his decline and then the injury came along! but as i have always been such a big Falcao fan i have my fingers crossed he will come good, but i dont have high expectations.
  4. If that quote is real then its 100% certain that Falcao will be a Chelsea player next season.
  5. Oscar isnt going anywhere! Jose isnt crazy enough to sell Oscar.
  6. he definitely wouldnt improve them much at all
  7. Courtois ivanovic - Miranda - Terry - Azpilicueta Matic - Nainggolan Fabregas Reus - Costa - Hazard
  8. the huge price tag isnt for his abailty right now, its for his potential, its clear he can become world class, thats what your paying for a talented young player who could become the best in his position
  9. what on earth are you talking about??? he scored past Barca, Real Madrid, Valencia and Sevilla in the 2nd half of the 2012/13 season as well as brilliantly setting up Costa in the Copa Del Rey final.
  10. if Falcao can regain some of his old form then he will be much more then a poacher.
  11. big fan of his, i couldnt believe he was left out of Belgiums WC squad
  12. This guy is a complete fool! he was on SSN saying how he wants to play in the CL and how you have to have ambition as a player, this is the same guy who left Chelsea for Everton because he didnt want to compete for a place in the team with Torres and Eto'o!!!
  13. if we were to sign him it would remind me of 05/06 when we had Drogba (Costa) and Crespo (Higuain)
  14. frustrates me so much when he gets in great goalscoring positions and decides to pass! and 9 times out of 10 the person he passes to doesnt score because they simply dont expect him to pass! he needs to find the right balance of knowing when to be selfish and when to be unslefish
  15. glad Mourinho is calling him out, RLC needs to learn if he is ever going to make it at Chelsea he is going to have to work his socks off, Mou is also testing his attitude to see how he reacts to this, its one of the reason why he never gave De Bruyne a chance, when he got dropped he never worked hard to get back in the team that is not the type of player Jose wants
  16. bang average player, wouldnt want him here
  17. no it was his clever movement and his ability to make something out of nothing that made him a top striker
  18. he never had to rely on his speed to score goals...
  19. yes he has played 8 games and scored 4 goals in the CL, and two of those 8 games was against us.
  20. he never kept Costa out of the Atletico team...
  21. Torres in his prime was also a great finisher even with his left foot, he also had great movment off the ball at Chelsea he was the complete opposite! i never knew an injury could take away your finishing ability and your off the ball movement.
