I think we should give him the benefit of the doubt.... afterall it is Mata we're talking about @Zolayes I understand what your saying but, today Mata looked miles ahead of the likes of Oscar and Hazard. And personally i think that Mata is our best player and our most important

Still 'The' Man After this afternoon's 'Man Of The Match' performance. Juan Mata showed all viewers that he still is the man at the Bridge. Chelsea's Player of the Year had a slow start to the season and was outshone by the likes of Eden Hazard and Oscar, but he showed today that he is the one who carries the real creative threat in midfield. He penetrated the Stoke City defense time and time again with his amazing first touch and his brilliant close control. Constantly probing with his movement and laser-guided passing, he created the team's clearest openings for Oscar and Torres, and his flick for Cole's winner was delightful.

I see what your sayin but Leo is a really nice guy aswell... Maybe not as nice as Kaka but on the football pitch I thinl they're both similar in the way that they ride challenges and get on with the game instead of being theatrical like a Ronaldo or an Ashley Young. But do you know who is really egotistical.... Xavi Hernandez! He's sooo cocky
-
Just watched the press conference and RDM said Sturridge is getting back to full fitness but the Stoke game is too close for him... He also said if he's not fit for the Wolves game then he'll be back right after that. So it looks like Torres is gonna start again *sigh* I don't think he'll cause the stoke defence any problems at all. The only way he'll do something is if he 1-on-1 with the keeper... And how often does that happen? Stamford Bridge is really small and it hard to find yourself 1vs1 with the keeper

he, like messi was one of those players who was sooo humble and never dived or got pissed when he was hurt

I wanna see Sturrigde, Marin, Moses...
-
I think we been patient enough with this lad... Get him off the pitch!
-
I expect this to be a tight encounter with very little goals if any... not feeling too confident on this one if im honest.
-
Ronaldo... Just being Ronaldo In my opinion, I think this is a poor excuse at a pay-raise and but attention seeking Cristiano claims its not. What do you think ?
-
Usually in football, if a player is on loan to another club (in this case Courtois) and the loaned player's team comes up against his owner's club... that player isnt supposed to play. But the Chelsea Board insisted that Thibaut plays... Am i the only one who sees this as abit dodgy. So i wouldnt be surprised if he makes a couple mistakes tomorrow
-
If we have a busy schedule, we'll obviously give him minutes on the pitch but If Torres gets injuried we'll be screwed!
-
Lucky you I'm sure you'll love it there Loooooooong story.. but im in England atm on holiday and im loving it! Going back this Thursday
-
Welcome to TC! I moved to Canada 2 years ago.. to a place called Kitchener from London in England. Honestly i hate it! But its good to see a fellow Canadian on TC
-
Everythings tight above the waist and then baggy under it LOL #Swag
-
Not quite.. if Moses could play as a CF it would be fine but I still think that we'll be in serious trouble if god forbid Torres picks up a knock... considering RDM built the whole team around him, if he gets injuried can Sturridge do it for us? Plus if Torres is out for a while and we have loads of games for example Wednesday CL Quarters.. Saturday PL tough away game... Tuesday Return leg of the Quarters. Will Sturridge be fit for all of those games and be able to deliver the goods? I think its too much pressure on him
-
Is Number 33 confirmed ?
-
Call me crazy but i think this lad, considering that he doesnt get injuried will win the PFA Player of the year if not then he'll definately win the PFA Young Player Of the Year.. he's already showing that he is at the level required to be a top class player at the tender age of 21

Ive been impressed with how Mata's been playing this deeper role in our first few games.. he plays alot like Iniesta now and its soooo much better for the team as he has the ball more often instead of last season when the ball was mostly at Mikels feet. As for his connection with Hazard, its alot like that of Iniesta and Messi.. most of the praise goes to Messi (in this case Hazard) but Iniesta is the technician(in our case Mata) .. the man whose at the root of it all.
-
I think we can all agree that Berbatov would be perfect as he is Man Utd's fifth choice striker... And we could get him very cheap! Plus we need a forward with experience in the Premier League. I'd hate it if we sign a young player for big bucks from abroad and he just flops in Premiership
-
Yep that too.. but we have to take advantage of theyre defence. This season we have quality players that can create chances at will and with my knowledge of Atleico i know we'll create loads of chances.. its just a matter of us taking them! I predict a high-scoring game
-
Especially without JT due to his suspension.. I think Atleti will give us a hard time from set-pieces with the likes of Radamel, Miranda, Godin etc. They're terrific in the air!

Kick off is actually 2045 CET which means 1945 UK time.
-
you guys are awesome
-
Are you retarded? there are sooo many things wrong with that team... One, no lampard. Two, Oscar is an offensive midfielder! Three, why would you pick Moses ahead of Oscar AND Ramires?
