So have we all unanimously agreed that Jose's philosophy of only signing workhorses so they can fit the bus parking system is what's holding us back? ALSO, I have somewhat of a theory. I think Hazard needs to learn how to take free kicks. Because I think this will make him a better football player. How? Well, in my opinion, the one thing that Hazard is missing is finishing. His finishing is average at best. And I think this is due to his poor, poor shooting technique. Eden often has shots the dribble into the keepers hands after a ridiculous run where he goes passed 3/4 defenders. He has shots like the one at Wembley where he gets under the ball somehow. He has shots that he puts so much power into it but it's central and easy for the keeper. The reason I think him practicing free kicks would help him is cuz you can't take free kicks without having good shooting technique. And frankly, Eden does not. That's why in a team where we don't have a REAL free kick specialist, he doesn't even come close to the ball whenever we have a free kick. Ivanovic is there before him. Little to no swerve/bend on the ball, the placement was average and there was barely any power on it. Look at all of the best player in the world. The attacking ones. All of them are capable of taking and converting free kicks. Messi, Ronaldo, Neymar, Bale, James, Robben, Alexis even Ozil ffs... Do you think it's a coincidence that 99.9% of the time Hazard takes corners they don't beat the first man. Or am I the only person to notice that? The man cannot strike a dead ball to save his life. Why? Because his technique is poor. I really do believe if he can work on that and improve his shooting technique.. it can equate to 5-10 more goals a year. Whether it's from direct free kicks, long shots, unerring finishes.. Whatever. But for an elite footballer, Eden Hazard does NOT strike a ball well.

I dont see why people are saying Hazard should START as a #10. His role right now is fine just the way it is. He has freedom. He can roam the pitch whenever he wants. Its not like he doesnt move from the touchline. I think its smart to have him on the wing. Where he can be one on one against a defender. He capable of destroying any defender he wants imo when it comes to 1v1. All were missing is someone who can make use of the space Hazard creates by being such a threat. Teams often double up on him and then that gives the striker & the #10 more space. But Oscar and Willian and even Cesc are often not decisive enough. Thats why I think we are one player shy of becoming a team that can go on and win the Champions League. Maybe a player like Isco or Gotze. Certainly not Moses. We need ONE more world class player going forward. Eden is already the crown jewel we just need someone to carry the load with him.

. I think he managed him well. Eden needs to regain fitness and sharpness. Tbh he didn't do much running in the PSG game or the Barca game. The PSG game I don't even think he even dribbled once. And the Barca game a few dashes on the break. This is good for him. He tends to start the season a little slow. I think he had 3 or 4 goals by November. And more or less the same the two seasons before that. Hopefully he starts better this season. I think this has been his most impressive pre season so far. He's looks good defensively and he's been clinical. Hopefully that's a feature of his season in 15/16

why aren't we linked with him? We need a creative midfielder who can play #10 and on the wing. Julian can do both AND he's young. AND he plays for Schalke. Give em the right amount of money and he'll be a Chelsea player. With quality attacking midfielders at a premium, failing to realize that this guy is a REALLY good option for what we want would be ludicrous from the board.

There's something about Falcao. I just really like him as a player. I mean, he was amazing once upon a time... everything about him was just sick! How he fucking loses his mind when he goes to celebrate a goal. How he's composed in front of goal and is one of those players who does the little chip over the keeper. How he bangs in IMPORTANT GOALS. He's just a boss. WAS* If he can find even half the form he was in at Atleti, I reckon he's gonna terrorize defenders all over Europe here at Chelsea.

There's a difference between EDITING and COMP MAKING. Editing is adding all these effects and choosing the right music to match the theme of the video and having a sort of story about the video. Comp making is simply gathering clips and mixing them up. It's a lot easier as there isn't much effort that goes into it. Thomas is an EDITOR, Heilrj is a COMP MAKER.

@MrExcalibur100, Lets be reasonable here. As much as we love Hazard, you can't put him up there with the two extraterrestrials: Messi and Ronaldo. I see why we Chelsea fans often say that he's up there with Messi and Ronaldo because when you compare him with the next group of quality, elite footballers.. he dominates statistically. But honestly, in my opinion... while I think he's comfortably better than Bale and Alexis. I think Robben and Neymar are both better than Hazard.They are deadly. You expect them to score every game for both club and country. They consistently score 20+ a season and they are deadly in front of goal. As much as Hazard is more of a playmaker, to truly be ABOVE Robben and Neymar, he needs to get 25 goals a season. He needs to develop that mentality where he wants to score every game even when its 5-0 like against Swansea and Schalke. Until then, he'll still be doubted by people and dumb Arsenal fans will say Alexis is better than him. I mean just imagine Ballon D'or 2015 final 3 and its Messi, Ronaldo and Hazard. We might say he deserves it.. but what will everyone else say? WTF HE ONLY SCORES PENALTIES!! HE DIVES!! ONLY 15 GOALS IN THE PREM!! And so on and so forth. Performance of the season from Chelsea players: Thibaut: West Ham (A) or Hull (A) because of that triple save. Cech: Everton (H) definitely!! Ivanovic: Leicester (H) he played a huge part in the winning goal and he had a great shot. Also, don't remember him being shit defensively Zouma: Everton (H)/Man City (H) he limited Aguero and Lukaku's effectiveness with his pace and power. Cahill: West Ham (A) Was performing the heroics which made him a starter here. Remember a few amazing last ditch tackles. Terry: West Ham (H) Not just his goal but was solid as usual against Carroll who has troubled him in the past. Azpi: Spurs (COC Final) Gave heart and soul. Difficult to say what his best performance is tbh... Consistently good. Filipe: Burnley (H) We were poor on the night but he was delightful to watch. Nemanja: Stoke (A) He was dominant as usual and consistently broke up the play. Also, Everton (A) Scored one and assisted Ramires' goal!! Mikel: Sporting (H) Not only did he score, he was positive on the ball. Easily his best performance. Ramires: West Ham (A) Jose's Ramires returned on this night. Assisted Hazard's goal and almost got himself on the score sheet but for the post. Cesc: Burnley (A) I'm sorry but THAT pass will live long in my memory. Gorgeous. 2 assists and a magical performance from Fabregas. Oscar: Swansea (A)/Palace (A) 2 goals vs Swansea and 1 goal, 1 assist vs Palace. Definitely his two best performances this season. Hope he can have a few more games like this before the end of the season. Willian: Schalke (A) Like Oscar, needs to produce this kind of performance more often. Was superb against Di Matteo's side. Hazard: Maribor (H/A) Very, very, hard to pick on performance. Dont want to think about the 5-3 but he was fabulous against Maribor. Home and Away but he's been amazing all season tbh. Remy: Man City (H) Came in for Diego and did what he seems to do whenever he plays... Scores. Costa: Swansea (H) Hattrick hero. Drogba: Tottenham (H) Goal and an assist and was looking like the Didier of old. (not really) But was by far his best performance of the season. His fanstastic interplay with Hazard showed again and he took his goal very well.

We went to Anfield in the Carling and went with a defensive line-up because we wanted to get out of there unscathed and go on to SB and win there. Right, so I stumbled across this video and I think all of us Hazard fans should give it a look. Some fantastic goals that I HAVE NOT seen till now. Some cracking finishes in his time at Lille. For many of the goals he scored, I was surprised (although I shouldn't be as he's a fabulous player) at how WELL he struck the ball. It's odd cuz, in my opinion, I think that part of his game has slowly deteriorated in the last two seasons. I know there are gonna be some users who'll read this and be like, "oh people will find anything..." *Andy Tate voice* ... Dont care. I mean look at his goals from his first season at Chelsea He scored some real belters! My favourite being the last minute goal against Sparta. He hasn't scored a goal like that in a while!!! A lot of them were mistakes from the keeper after Eden's shot wasn't well struck. It's definitely an area of his game that I think has gone downhill since joining. If he is confident and strikes the ball well consistently, I don't think he'd think twice when in a position where he can score from or even test the keeper.
