Get Falcao, get JT fit, and we will have our solid defence, experience and leader back, whilst having a match winner, then we have a young team for the future meaning we shouldn't have to break the bank for a couple of seasons and in the summer we can think about cheaper options to strengthen at CM etc, but a striker, especially when you only play 1 up front when we do has to be one of the most critical positions and we need goals. We also only have 1 striker with danny already all but gone to liverpool. Put torres on the bench for a few games, make him see that he isn't just gonna be the man whatever happens and get him to try to impress coming off the bench.

48 mil isn't getting ripped off for falcao really... It seems a pretty fair price based upon how good he is... We also are CFC and we very rarely grab a bargain as people see us coming and no we will pay more. We can be more solid at the back but we will still miss a lot of chances and have trouble in attack, or we can convert those chances, and be more like the man u clubs... yes we all hate them and they concede, but they are both several points ahead of us mainly due to world class strikers. I would rather win games 4-2 than draw some 0-0, with the occasional win 1-0. We have conceded 17 that is only higher than man city who have concede 2 less goals than us... Man utd have conceded 7 more goals than us... But man u have scored 15 more goals than us.

Exactly... uniteds defence has been pretty poor, their midfield is no where near as formidable as it has been, but they have pure quality up front. When we have a striker who can create things for himself, and convert the chances created then it can get the team out of so much trouble... Look at uniteds 3rd choice striker. He is always putting away those chances when his team needs them. Same with Citys' third choice. We don't even have one of those. That is the big difference, and can mean winning those games were you don't play well as a team.

We paid 50 mil, for torres... It didn't exactly slow roman down on his spending... Falcao is a bargain in comparison to that at 48 mil. If torres was worth 50 mil then falcao should be 100. We have a proper striker and we get top 4... yes there are no guarentees, but i am 100% confident it won't make us worse than now, and would definitely be an improvement. Top 4 is a must and then next season we can go from there... As for FFP, i'll let the boys at the top worry about that.

Everyone would rather chelsea win than not win, with torres doing whatever. I would rather him be scoring than not scoring. You seem to think that because torres gets the headlines and people are always talking about him we care more about his performance than chelsea's which is obviously not true. The "hate" he gets on here stems from 2 years of pretty much nothing, and a continuing of bad performances. If we were to win 90% of games with torres then it wouldn't matter about his performances but the fact is we are not winning every game and with him being our only striker we are heavily relieant upon him.

He is our only striker in a team with hazard mata and Oscar behind him. He should be scoring. He is still playing shit and going missing in games, which you must be able to see through your torres tinted glasses. He cannot score a 1 on 1 to save his life and the number of chances he has had he should have scored a lot more.And pretty much everyone else has said the rest... How do you feel now? lol... Also you seem to be forgetting about the fact that we have 1 striker (danny injured and never getting a look in), and therefore play with one up top. And of the prem players you mentioned, Rooney plays on the left and isn't their main striker by a long way... Balotelli pretty much never plays, ba is great and plays in a strike partnership of 2 and doesn't have over 50 mil behind him playing in a team currently 13th ish, dzecko is man citys 3rd choice striker, tevez has been good this season but is in a team with 4 (3 top quality strikers) and his record is very close to torres, adebayor is tottenhams number 2, podolski and giroud are in their first season in the prem and play together. Also giroud started off terribly. And thats without mentioning him playing more games. See how stats can easily be interpreted in one way or the other. You getting angry... If torres wants to score a goal a game from now to the end of the season then that is great but is it gonna happen if performances stay the same. But goals are not just a number and some ar emore valuable to others... I.E. Scoring when 4-1 up vs leeds isn't the same as when we are 1-0 down in a final of a competiton with 3 mins left is it. Drogba didn't score many last season but he did when it mattered and that was much more important than him scoring 25 in a season.
