TBH, i know strikers linking up is incredibly useful but i would be more than happy to accept a selfish striker who bangs in goals for fun and whose one concern is scoring. We play with 1 up front and 5 in midfield, i am sure we can afford to have 1 player whose major focus is scoring.

He has a long contract here and it is far to early to talk about a player leaving us who has been here for like 5 months.

That is what the forum is for... Lewandowski is better value at just over 15 mil but falcao is better imo. I am sure lewandowski will be a great finisher though at the bridge... When he is scoring for united.

It doesn't matter how good he is or isn't really atm as there is such a small chance of us getting him and he looks extremely likely to be joining united in the summer.

Battersea power station was a big blow. As it was a great site, extremely accessable and was in a great location. Especially for where i live. It would be great to keep it in the same place but we do need to increase capacity, unless we are bringing back standing then we can get a lot more people in.

Well if we can get 70,000 people in there instead of 40,000 then they would get a lot more revenue from it. Although i can't see the number increasing that much as there will be limited standing areas and everyone wouldn't be crammed in... Some atmosphere there would be though. In the olden days way back in the early 1900's apparently we got 120,000 people in one time. What an atmosphere that must have been.

I think you have a point there. As i definitely think that playing for your country isn't seen as high an honour as it once was. Previously playing for your country was the pinnacle... For some it still may be, but overall it isn't to the same level.

They are either talented enough or they are not. You can't deny a player the chance to play for their country even if the timing isn't ideal. I would rather it be in the summer as it would be much better for us, but alas that is not the case.

Not buying a player because they may at some point in their career play for their country in the ACON is stupid... If you are having them on loan for 6 months from january then it would be something to consider as it is a reasonable chunk of it. But if you don't buy someone because of that you are going to be missing out on a lot of talented players.

I think not buying players if they want to play in the African cup of nations is very stupid, as everyone has the right to play for their country... The timing of the tournment isn't ideal and i would be lieing if i said i would rather moses and mikel didn't go to the ACON, because chelsea is 10 times more important in my eyes, but i am in no way annoyed with them because that is their country and their decsion to make. The ACON isn't helped by its timing as some players choose to stay with their clubs and it also suffers from arguably not having as high a callibre of players as the euro's but it doesn't make it a mickey mouse tournment and i am sure if you are african you would care about it a lot more than me. I find chelsea 10x more important than the england team though some people prefer there country to the club. It's down to the individual... Didier loves/loved???? to play for the ivory coast. Just my thoughts on the matter...
