We were never gonna put him in the wide position we already have a great attacking mid. If he played well it shouldn't take long to jump over torres is the pecking order. I hope we can find an agreement providing it doesn't start getting stupid with wage amounts as you will be hard pressed to find a better deal.

Well this is weird. Surely he would have only had a medical if the terms were agreed... So its very weird. Eventually we will get some news about what exactly happened. Demba ba to sign for us was taken off the bookies website but now it is back with us at 4/7... I sense this story isn't over but it will be a real shame if we don't get him.

What I meant by causes less problems in midfield is the fact that problems are magnified when they are made in defence because you are the last line. The fact he has an extra layer of protection helps him. Also compared to what we have available to play in there I think comparably he is one of the best.

He is now 1/6 to go to us. Be great to have a proper target man back in the team. He is 27 as well so got quite a few years and his knee problem seems overly Brought up. He is also gonna be under 10 mil and that seems like great value to me.

He's never gonna be the most popular man at the bridge but he is doing well and we are winning and playing well. Which is all he can do do as a manager. He does have to get credit for finally initiating the Luiz to midfield thing.

He causes a lot less problems in midfield and i think it suits him. Your right he is not a midfielder.... YET! he has only had a few games there but I think it works atm and should get even better over time.Also, perhaps more importantly we have been winning with it and playing well.
