If we look logically then in the long term courtois should be more beneficial to the team but I have a hard time saying we just get rid of Cech who is undoubtedly world class because we want to try and keep a youngster who is/can be as good/better than him... It's a tough decision whatever. But I don't think we can loan him for 5 years to atletico... Though they would probably love that.

Tbh, the more Iook at this situation the less likely I think we will keep courtois. There is NO WAY a keeper of his quality at his age should be sitting on the bench for 5 years waiting for a shot. Let's be honest Cech is an amazing keeper and if I had to pick 1 GK for a 1 off match I would probably pick him. The only way we will keep courtois is if we decide either at the end of this season or the next to get rid of Cech who is still world class and being a GK in great shape I see no reason why he can't still be world class in 5 years time. I hope he stays as he has a great chance to become a GK legend like the likes of Cech and Schmeichel etc. We will probably end up selling him somewhere for something stupid like 10 mil. Then when Cech retires in 5 years buying him back for 50 mil... It wouldn't surprise me tbh.

I am pretty sure 80-90 percent of us would have rather had Rdm stay on than rafa. What would have happened... Who knows. But would we be happier... Yes we would be. We would have been a squad that was definitely United. A team that respected and cared about the manager which I am not sure we have at the moment and us lot would all be concentrating on the team than the managerial situation. It is a shame and i personally don't think we would be any worse off at all with Rdm here. Especially after we signed Demba ba as Rdm would know he is the no 1 and work round that accordingly. I definitely miss RDM... But at least we won't win the prize for most crazy sacking this season... As Southampton win that hands down.

Because he is going to QPR. ;-)

I don't think the swansea ball boy is elegible...
-
Ok, he hasn't been amazing in his first season in the prem... Very few do and he spends most of the time playing in a position which isn't his. He is a No.10 or would be very suited to have that lampard role that he used to dominate in a 4-3-3. Something like -----------Mikel Rambo ------------------Oscar He would be able to dictate the play a bit more. He is still very young and i do not regret us buying him in the slightest.
-
It would have been even funnier if it was mario...
-
Adrian Durham ripping into arsenal as well know... He is shooting up in my estimations...
-
We get ripped on a regular basis in our media, makes a change to hear some people sticking up for us. It definitely helps that he posted he was going to timewaste, but the video evidence is pretty damning for the kid.
-
Its brentford, so i would like to see our youngsters (not our first team youngsters) Turnbull Ferreira Cahill JT (Fitness and give them all a leader) Bertrand Ake Luiz Marin Oscar Malouda Torres Mata and demba, and lamps gets a rest.
-
Yeah they are currently in talks, and chris foy is expected to do a medical in the next 48 hours.
-
Yeah, also the hundreds of thousands of people listening all of a sudden thought Hazard had stamped on his head because he didn't give the ball back, and then he went absolutely crazy to Rafa about the "assault on the Kid". "Chelsea are a disgrace" etc.. WTF!
-
OH wow... They just played the whole thing just now... Mark Saggers what a Knob head, i can't believe that, he had an all out assault on CFC.... Unbelievable that bellend.
-
Did Ashley Williams actually go after the game to shake ball boys' hand?
-
Haven't watched much tbh, but i would love Drogba to win it, as it clearly means a lot to him.

Darren gough (former england cricketer) is the neutral. Adrian Durham is the other bloke.
-
Yeah i know, they just played a repeat of it... adrian is making up for it now..
-
The ball boy, is everything wrong with society today. Hazard isn't in the wrong. Disgraceful, swansea deserved to win. But expanding on what he wrote on his section on the daily mail, which i think smeone posted on page 180 of this thread. "He played the ball, Never a foul"
-
Adrian Durham on talksport now!
-
When i first read that title, i was like WTF, why is Wenger gonna get him. (Then i realised it said Winger ) Would be a great signing as we all know the lack of depth we have atm but i can't see it happenning right now.
-
The next game he plays he will come out like joey barton. lol.
-
In my opinion, this has become a bit of a farce, and as someone has said "mountain out of a molehill". The FA should recind the red card, but you can bet your house that they won't. I think if anything he is more likely to get a longer ban, but will be "saved" by what the bloke (not calling him a kid anymore) wrote on twitter about him being a ball boy there #needfortimewasting. And adrian Durham... Glad to see he is saying the truth. I do like talksport, except the likes of stan colleymore who really piss me off (but that is besides the point).
-
LOL, yeah i can see roman going for that... 32 mil signing has been sacked by chelsea for getting pissed of with a ball hogging ball boy...
-
Yeah, but the point is, no matter what Lamps or JT could say would change the refs red card decision... Lamps took it well and got on with the game as we had to. I'm not saying JT wouldn't have done the same but it wouldn't change much, except the next swansea player with the ball would have got munched by JT!
