To clarify, i am in no way saying Hazard has been bad this season. He is a great player and i am glad we have got him, i am just using him as an example of one of several players who had a game as bad as lampard today. Again, i am not saying no one is allowed to slate lampard. But its the fact he is getting singled out as being bad, as in he is the one responsible for all the long balls and he has been the reason for our poor performances. As for lampard being the centre of discussion that is true. But then you could say that people are allowed to talk about him when he is playing well because he gets slated when he doesn't (you can put it either way round).

We just need to fight and scrape through to get over the line. If we can do that, next season should be much different, with a new man at the helm, no more fernando, and recalling some real talent, and reinforcing in some much needed positions.

And that makes him easier to critiscise? Hazard has gone missing in games this season. And lampard has also had several good games. I don't see why his performance is worse because he is coming towards the end of his contract.

Lampard put torres through one on one, and torres layed it off to no-one. There were also plenty of examples where hazard just lost the ball when it was on the floor. So then you should be getting mad at cech and david luiz, who were the main one lumping it up towards torres.

Yet you don't post how many times hazard was disposessed in the hazard thread. Or Oscar. Etc. I get that he had a bad game, but so did everyone else he was playing alongside.

Whilst i don't agree with the "bertrand is shit and should be gone" mentality. That game he was playing as an advanced left back so it was basically cole and bertrand as joint left backs. He still has a lot to prove and hasn't done much to prove his quality yet. Still a lot to learn from A.Cole.

So you are saying in conclusion, that the best chelsea player on the pitch was fernando... Very few players played well, but fernando was on a whole new level of awfulness.

But its not the same team that won the Champions league. We had malouda, kalou, Raul, and crucially THE MAN DROGBA. So i think its a bit harsh to say the worst european champions of all time. We won it fair and square. We had our luck, but then we also had great performances along the way. Lol, at the "rafa benitez who made match-winning substitutions in both matches against Sparta", Yet has made some of the worst team selections and substitutions and tactics of all time...

I don't blame them for not wanting to play for that twat of a manager, but they should ignore him and just play for us and the fans who travelled out there to see them, and that performance... Another reason why the whole team will get a lift when he is gone. I.e. if we had RDM, jose, gus poyet, anyone like that, the team would most likely have put a lot more effort in.

We should have left them all at home and played our youngsters. Why was ake not playing. He would have given more in midfield than pretty much everyone combined in there. We should sack rafa immediately, and tell torres he is gonna play with malouda in the reserves. Recall Lukaku, and then actually have a decent striker for every game, as torres is beyond useless and if rafa starts him over BA then the world is doomed through stupidity.

You can't just blame JT because the attack was beyond crap... He organised the defence (the best he could with luiz running of) and defended well which is his primary job. He should have tried harder to motivate the team but there isn't a captain on the earth that could have motivated that team. Its clear that they either don't give a shit about the europa or don't want to play for rafa.

We played that crap and rafa still only made 2 changes...

His defending was sublime. Lamps put in a good pass. And Torres played it safe and cleared it... Didn't want to risk missing.

RDM must be sitting there thinking WTF! Apparently he wasn't taking the club forward. We never played that bad under RDM ever!

Well there's shit and then there was that... A whole different level. Not one player had a good game... Lampard was bad, oscar was bad, Hazard had his worst game in a Chelsea shirt. Benayoun was crap. Mikel was ok. Defence were ok except Bertrand and Luiz who forgot which position he was playing in... so terrible game and the players looked quite uninterested. JT is probably the motm as he had his man covered the whole game but he didn't do anything special. Still think we will go though but that performance was something else.

Performance is hardly encouraging.
