Just returned home, i'm coming to check on my boy Eden. How's my favorite player been in this game ? PS : David Luiz, what an absolute beauty !
-
Anyone got a good link please ?
-
Yeah but still you can imagine that the Hazard you saw at Chelsea is not the Hazard you bought. I'm pretty sure with any decent coach Eden would have followed the same curve.
-
Makele had better technique than Mavuba. His pass range was also way wider, long and short. Two very different players actually. Mavuba capitalizes on his assets (anticipation, tackle, pace, safe) knows his lacks and play as simply as possible. He's an intelligent player, he would know how to adapt to PL, so yes he's be good in PL eventually. Not Chelsea material, that's all. Not in top teams who can't afford too much an adaptation time for their players.
-
That's also a good selling argument if we want to compete against other top clubs, knowing they can't possibly do worse than their predecessor. No pressure, man...
-
That wouldn't be bad for him to go on loan, for Chelsea too. The main opportunities will be this summer : many of the worldclass strikers of tomorrow are said to leave (Cavani, Falcao, Lewandowski, Suarez, Neymar...) I personally think that Lewandowski would fit right in the type of play i would go for in the coach's shoes. I'd like to seem him linking with Mata and Hazard. Also, he's young (24), Champion's League proven, and cheaper than the four others as his contract is expiring. And i can't see why he would go to Bayern (win 5 - 0 all the time and betray your dortmund fans, yay...) or Man U. You'd rather compete with RVP or Ba for the first spot ?
-
Well he's been playing football since he was 2, lived for 6 years in the LOSC youth center, played for another 4 years as a pro, i can't let you say his defensive abilities are due to 4 months with Benitez. It's not fair to all the others who have coached him. And brought him to a level of consistency he has not yet reached under Benitez. Beware of that tendency i've witnessed from big club supporters of forgetting the player's past, and take credit for what he is. Madrid fans are especially good at this, i've talked with some and they all claim Di Maria and Benzema are what they are thanks to Madrid and Mourinho only. Not very respectful of Benfica and Lyon ...
-
Hazard is just naturally getting to the level he has displayed for a year at Lille, don't think that has much to do with Benitez
-
As much as i adore Rio Mavuba, a real leader and strong personality, excellent mentality both off and on the pitch, i'm not sure he would blossom in the Premier League. In Ligue 1 he compensate his 1m69 by his awesome work rate and sens of anticipation, i don't think this it's enough for Premier League and C1 top level... And since his injury, 23 yo Idrissa Gueye, his replacement as n°6, has been far more impressive. Since then Lille won 6 out of 7 games, and aerial game is not the weakness of our midfield anymore. http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xyuw6c_hazard-de-retour-a-lille_sport Off voice : Eden Hazard is back at Lille. Not on the pitch, but on the scene. And for the good cause : he kindly accepted his mate's invitation, Rio Mavuba who was organizing a charity concert. A good chance to see that the LOSC and his supporters haven't forgotten him, and for us to catch up on him. Eden : I come back here to see my friends and family, And when it's for a good cause also... I have to you know, it's important. Rio's a brother. So how has it been in CFC ? It started very well, i was doing really nice. After that there's been some off games, along with the rest of the team. Now we're back on track and i think we can wrap up this season pretty well. We have one foot in the Europa League semi-finals, two in FA Cup's, in the league we aim to qualify for the champion's league , i'm confident we can still dream of doing a perfect end season, it's just up to us to do the riht things. You don't regret your choice, signing for the Blues ? No, not at all ! I'm in an amazing group, with amazing people, i'm enjoying it. It's a big club also; After that he mainly talks about Lille.
-
Back in Lille tonight for Rio Mavuba's charity event "Une nuit à Makala". Here he is with Adil Rami and Rio Mavuba (the only true one, the one who didn't leave us ... until this summer)

Don't understand nobody mentioned this 100 mph rocket launcher let foot yet... Best free kick goalscorer of Serie A ever (45 goals) ahead of Platini, Del Piero, Pirlo... Ain't bad for a centre back

I wouldn't understand the likes of Suarez and Bale being more higly rated than Mata. But you can't say that for Van Persie imo, he's performing in a team who's taming the league like it hadn't been since Chelsea 2004-2005. It's unthinkable not to choose a Red as best player of the season. And throughout the season who's been their best player ? RVP. Think of it that way : On the pitch and statistically (european golden shoe), 2004/2005 best PL player was Thierry Henry. But if Lampard hadn't won the award would've seemed unfair to you and outrageous right ?
-
Either the Blues or the Gunners IMO. Hazard and Mata have Torres up-front. Rooney has Van Persie, Gerrard has Suarez...
-
I'm not like Depardieu, i can't interchange nationality as I wish. In my soul i'm french and that will never change. And seriously, leave Rousseau, Musset, Baudelaire & Rimbaud for Amélie Nothomb ? No thanks

Well i was born 5km near the Belgian border, spent half of my life there and even lived in Bruxelles for a year. My favorite club educated and guided such talents as Mirallas, Eden Hazard, and now Origi, Bruno and Klonaridis. The LOSC has always been fond of Belgian football, now owns a Belgian club (Mouscon, which I follow attentively). My favorite player EVER is Belgian, i felt proud seeing him play for us at such a level. I hold more interest and love in players of the Belgian squad compared to many of french players. I'd be happy to see them taking their carreer to another level winning big trophies. So sure, if Belgium reaches finales in 2014 - they may well do, better chances than France really, i'll be watching the game at a Bruxelles pub, hoping to feast and celebrate with you the final victory. And Leekens is a cunt. Pretty nice disguise, ain't it ? We're the same, apart that i pay way more taxes than you. And my government is less politically efficient than yours even when it does not exist... But still, in my heart i'll always regret Hazard is not born while his parents were driving by in France... Damn the guy was born at La Louviere, 10 miles west and we'd have won another World Cup

Yep, very impressive team. All the more impressive when you see most of their stars are under 25 y.o. Courtois, Vertonghen, Kompany, Vermaelen behind ; Witsel, Dembele, Fellaini, De Bruyne in the middle ; Hazard, Mertens, Mirallas and Lukaku up front that's very promising. Belgian NT will be a huge outsider for the Euro 2016 and WC 2018, when all the talents in the team will have more experience... Besides, the relief is already there with the likes of Dennis Praet, very impressive at only 18, Junior Malanda whom i've been following for a few years, he's the next big thing trust me ; Yannick Ferreira Carrasco whose raw talent is outstanding... Keep an eye also on Divock Origi ...
-
Imagine at the end of his career a 2h movie made by a pro (like rom7ooo for instance, cf his 2011/12 compilation) of all his best goals, passes, skills and dribbles   I'd definitely pay to see this
-
I'm bored at work, so just for you guys, an Eden Hazard orgy ! Chronologically listed ! - 2008 - 2009 : First full L1 season as a regular first team player, he scores his first goal. His class, dribbles and pace amaze french fans, deservedly making him at the end the season L1youngster of the year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wCvlmTwXq8 At only 18 years old, Eden Hazard litterally rapes the great Olympique Lyonnais, at that time 7 times L1 champions in a row ; and proves to everyone watching he is without a doubt a future "fuoriclasse" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmT1sExp624 - 2009 - 2010 : Not so many videos of his 2009/2010 season, despite Eden confirming once more his immense talent scoring 5 goals in Ligue 1 and delivering 8 assists on a personal note after an splendid season where he and his LOSC team mates had an incredible run of 7 wins in a row with 4 goals scored at every game. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1xG4hNg5gUM - 2010 - 2011 : After 50 years of patience, LOSC fans finally taste the sweet flavor of trophy winning. Thanks to its belgian gem, the LOSC will master both the Championship and the Cup, achieving a memorable "doublé". Inevitably, Hazard wins Ligue 1 player of the year award... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/xgy3cc_eden-hazard-2010-2011_sport#.UUxIYeOTvpY - 2011 - 2012 : Shit is getting serious. In a league he's already dominated from head to toe, Eden Hazard keeps on growing. To the talent, he's combining decisiveness, finishing the championship with the impressive record of 20 goals, 15 assists, despite the departures of his 3 former attacking partners Gervinho, Yohan Cabaye, Moussa Sow... Fully enjoying his new role as a CAM, after having shown he is an astonishing player, Eden Hazard proves he can be mind-blowing. http://www.facebook.com/video/video.php?v=3568114606937 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IaniajSmR9o - 2012 - 2013 : Well, I spare you the introducion speech. You know all there is to know already about his first Premier League season, and very likely his first Premier League personnal award, as the most impressive young player of the year. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydsmRlr7TQc http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tSjEAnVL_ts

Pastore is indeed very poor, capable of classy plays during some games but extremely inconsistent, and nonchalant in the pitch which makes him very frustrating to watch for PSG fans. Doesn't stand the comparison with Lavezzi for instance, who gives everything he has in him at each game.
-
Absolute miracle by the way...

Man, I don't know you so i will say this with all due respect, but seriously you gotta calm down with the useless posts. If at least it was funny but i dont think i'm the only one not laughing at your "jokes". I visit fora to debate, discuss and benefit from the insights of more qualified people than me. And I try to return the favor, sharing my insights on topics on which I deem being qualified. Like Hazard for example, which i've supported and loved for many years now. That's why I dare contribute to the forum when i feel it would be useful, when i feel it would not waste the time of the people who would read what i have to say. I am under the impression that almost none of your posts here fit into those criteria. That's why you have written more posts in a week than i have since this summer. In other fora that i visit that would have been called flooding and that would not be tolerated...

I see he's had a great game yesterday. So happy for him ! He could have had another goal or assist though http://justmanunited.com/2012/07/23/ferguson-chelseas-hazard-is-overrated/ I think Fergie is eating his backpipe right now

Merdique * It's an adjective. In french you can't say sthg is shit like in english, you have to say it's shitty.

Bale, Ronaldo, Hazard... Who cares who's better than the others ? Kagawa crushes them anyway
