Just reading over United's forums, their fans are justifying it by talking about how they will be a "better team" and "save money" and still be able to buying others I think in a sense they are right about all three but they still will miss his goal-scoring BIG TIME I am sure they will get someone AND they will still have a solid team.....but he will be missed

No but I would much prefer a situation where we have someone who who like to come to us even if the management says no. If the player goes to the management and wants out, it could happen

Ah, I love it The media creates a story which produced numerous "Chelsea should be embarrassed" articles.....and of course....none of it is true Now, I do believe we showed interest in him (as I said previously) and probably made some waves to get him but the stories going after us were about the record bid, not that we were trying to get him.

I take a bit of comfort knowing people like him must live a miserable life full of anger and hate.

The Club was in bad shape before RA but I don't think it was close to the end for us (as in, a fire-sale around the corner) He has helped tremendously but he took an approach not followed too much in the football owner business....and it has worked I always get a kick reading an article or two about how bad we are financially when the author probably has not the slightest clue about debt management

Just going off the reports, make a high fee and see if they reach it. I am just not sure what that fee would be but more than the 1M mark given. The kid is only 19 and I am interested to see how he would do with the new coach coming in. Coaches can in fact make the difference for players
