  1. People had trouble pronouncing his surname, so someone on Twitter asked if they could just call him Dave. And at the 'Audience with' he accepted his new name LOL
  2. Mata with another assist? He is a FRIGGEN beast!
  3. In the train going back rom the game. So glad I got to see the Blues, and what a result. Some great goals, and definitely A LOT to work on. Here are my thoughts of the game, I think I'll rewatch it later just to get it all soaked in. Our defense was quite shaky at times, especially in the first half. Credit to Nordsjælland, they played their game and had a couple of good chances, but we have amazing Pete guarding our goal. It got better in the second half, but still something to look out for. The overall performance of the first half was not good enough. I thought it was amazing to see how many Chelsea fans actually made it to the game, and we outnumbered the FCN supporters by far. I talked to an English chap during the game, and we both thought that we were on our heels. He was bbviously a little liquidized, one might say, but cool to meet a domestic Chelsea supporter. Torres. He is a striker. A striker scores goals. I will not go into too much details, but he didn't score. He contributed to the team, but that's the least you can expect. Not good enough. Referee. Holy.... He was bloody poor. 4 goals annulled due to freekicks or offsides. Just.... We're not MANU or Barcelona in any way, let's put it like that shall we? Good result, half decent performance, awesome to be there. Mata is sick, walking in the streets amongst loads of Chelsea fans (dunno the exact number, somewhere between 500-1000?) and cheering the Blues to victory. TOP OF THE LEAGUE HAVING A LAUGH. 4-0. I love you, Chelsea!
  4. On the train towards Copenhagen. Just had a chat with a few other Chelsea fans. Amazing to see that many passionate fans, when you think about how relatively small our population is. They were both wearing the 3rd kit with Torres and Mata on the back. Hoping for a great performance from our Spaniards. More excited than ever. CHELSEA HERE WE COME!
  5. Yup, and also saw them play in the pre-season against Brondby in 2007. Two Drogba goals. Amazing.
  6. Can't wait. 1 day away, been so long since I last saw Chelsea live.... GOING TO THE CAPITAL TOMORROW. See you guys, I'll be cheering for the blues!
  7. Wow, wow, wow GUYS! Relax now, come on! Any team that makes it into the Champions League should not be taken lightly. That being said, it is a must win fixture. But if we draw them, or, God forbid it, lose, then our group will be much harder to top. I watch FCN rather often, and with their pace they could be lethal on counters. I would like to see a 'close' to normal starting 11, and if we lead by a few goals coming into the second leg, then sub them off and bring on some younger players. Not saying we should play all of Mata, Oscar, Hazard and Torres, but better be safe than sorry? Crazier things has happened, so I'm fairly confident that RDM will put on a strong team. This game is of equal importance compared to the Norwich game, if we want to do well in Europe.
  8. I don't think he played a bad game. Not his best, that's for sure, but one can't underestimate his work rate. His defensive contribution seems to be forgotten, but I think he played a major part in the win yesterday.
  9. They are by far not my favorite team in Denmark, but gotta give credit where it's due. They won the Danish National Championships, using the style of football that we want to play. They have a decent defense at best, but their offensive is what we should be keeping an eye on. I would highlight Jores Okore as their key player, he is a real gem and followed closely by several good clubs in Europe. That being said, it should be a fairly easy win for the Blues. It would not classify them as better than FC Copenhagen at all, but they took their chances and made it through to the Champions League, and it deserves a certain amount of respect
  10. Nor-she-lan. ('she' like in shelves) Looking forward to this game, as it'll be the 3rd Chelsea game I'll be watching live! I'm goíng to sit next to all the Chelsea fans, and right now 30000 tickets have already been sold, but expecting close to full capacity. CANNOT WAIT!!!!! I think we'll see a few changes from the Arsenal game: Cech Azpi - Cahill - Terry - Cole Lampard - Mikel Moses - Mata - Hazard Torres Should be a comfortable win for sure, but never underestimate any team in Champions League. Sub a few players if we get an early lead, but we can't take this game lightly. Funny thing though, right now it seems that more Chelsea fans will attend to the game than FC Norsjælland supporters, lol. Anyways, I'll be in the stands with my mates and cheering the Blues to victory. We welcome the boys in blue to Denmark, and hoping for a delightful show from our players. 0-4 will be my prediction, if eveything goes according to plan. See ya, lads
  11. Cech Brana - Terry - Luiz - Cole Ramires - Mikel Oscar - Mata - Hazard Torres Chelsea TV.
  12. Apparently Marin didn't make it to the squad according to Chelsea TV. However Lucas Piazon did!
  13. Keep the spirit and the blue flag flying high! Have a good feeling about this, someone mentioned a Hazard goal, and I feel that vibe! Hoping to see the same team from the Stoke game, but not sure whether or not it'll be a good idea though. Let's snub the 3 points, and maintain the bragging rights over Le Arse. My bet is a tough 3-1 win for the boys in blue. Chelsea 3 - 1 Arsenal 16' min - Hazard 33' min - Podolski 69' min - Terry 82' min - Torres Fingers crossed, let's hope for a good and fair game!
  14. Nordsjælland Yeah, it'd be good to see him play, especially considering that I got tickets for the game! Can't wait for that one
  15. Why shouldn't they? Mata is better than Carzola.
  16. Oscar is great. So is Mata. And so is Hazard. Let's not worry about who's the best. Let the opposition do that
  17. Absolutely love this guy. I really do! So humble, so unselfish and what a player. He has got that SPECIAL thing we all lust for in a creative and offensive footballer. Ever since he came to Chelsea he hasn't ceased to amaze me, and I am confident that he remains one of the best purchases ever done by our club. Furthermore he seems to love the city and his surroundings, and wants to improve, thus help Chelsea succeed. What a story. Wins the FA cup and UCL in his first season. With Juan, Hazard, Oscar and Moses we've got ourselves a branch of the best offensive players in the world if we use em' right. Let's hope so. Mata, may the future be forever blue! KTBFFH!
  18. I can only speak for my part of the country (although Denmark is not that large compared to other countries) and we do actually have quite a few more fans than I expected. When I started in highschool 2 months ago, I knew, what? 9 Chelsea supporters in my previous school, and the number increased as I moved to the new school to around 17 now. So they are fairly big here. Not really comparable to Liverpool or Barca, but I know more Chelsea fans than Madrid. Would probably go with this: 1. Liverpool/Barcelona 2. Liverpool/Barcelona 3. United 4. Chelsea 5. Madrid 6. City Not that big of a gap from us to United though
  19. So we basically wish for the same thing to happen. RDM to succeed, to scrap the overload of defensive players against teams we should be able to cope with like QPR, and for us to be a top contender for the Premiership. Glad we got that sorted out mate .
  20. You quoted me, so I think it must be a tad bit personal . I'm agreeing with you regarding the line up. We can't keep playing like that. But let's discuss whether or not RDM is the right man for Chelsea in a few months, that's all I'm saying .
