In most cases, especially if we get even stronger in the summer, teams will come to defend against Chelsea and almost all of them will be more than happy to get a draw. Therefore, Jose's should come up with a game plan which is less dependent on the hope of the other team making a mistake.

but, what happens when teams decide not to attack at all? because, if I'm not mistaken, for an effective counter attacking to happen the opponent needs to make the mistake of putting too much of his resources on the offense, right?

counter attacking ... can it be a permanent style for a team? especially for one which is full of superstars and, therefore, can not be considered an underdog in most situations? .. I mean, what happens to such a team when it can't afford to sit back? I don't know if it is even a THING, like tiki-taka, high-pressing or long-ball. For me its more of a specific quality in a situation...and people say it will be Chelsea's identity next season... I don't get it, some body help PS: for me, a team should be able to keep its identity in most situations in a game. Say, if we've couple of good free-kick takers and a considerable amount of our goals comes through them, we can not claim free-kick taking as our style/identity be cause it is too event driven

In my opinion the aftermath of all the heroics in the CL 2012 are these (in order of importance) ... 1) The glory 2) Qualifying for CL 2012/12 3) The money 4) The signing of Eden Hazard in the next15 which signaled the end of an era of an ultra defensive football to begin that of flare, beauty and art ... RDM lost his job trying to follow the dream and Chelsea fan's were promised exactly that by the returning JM, its time he tries to keep it
