Keepers have different standards to be judged on than outfield players. And even if you really think Ozil, Mata and whoever else is better than Sterling that fact is all of those players are in their prime years and Sterling is even close to scratching the surface. Is this lost on you? And btw I don't believe Mata or Ozil are better than Sterling... Not in the least.

You should go do some homework... Robben never scored 20 in the league his highest total was 17 and he did that this season... at the age of 31. And Ronaldo is a fucking freak of nature and a natural finisher, you can't assign the same principles to Hazard as you would to Ronaldo that is not only poor but makes me think you have no understanding that human beings possess different qualities. If you put Hazard and his 19 goals on one flank and you balance it with the speed and trickery of Sterling on the right, you have two guys who command all sorts of attention from the defense and thus gives more space for others to operate. Not to mention he can beat men on his own, like Hazard... and generates loads of scoring chances like Hazard at the age of 20... on Liverpool.

The fact you included goalies is eye watering. Anyways... if he's not in the top 10 the fact that he's 20 and knocking on the door of these players Eden Hazard - 24 Sergio Kun Aguero - 27 David Silva - 29 Alexis Sanchez - 26 Diego Costa - 26 Cesc Fabregas - 28 Nemanja Matic - 25 Yaya Toure - 32 Wayne Rooney - 29 Thibaut Courtois/De Gea - LOL is an incredible feat in the hardest league world football.

I'll tell you what it means, to your amateur eye you think we need more goals and ball retention based on a game where none of our players performed to their capabilities( a game we drew) Can you find me another winger who can score 15+ goals a season? You speak of Reus, his best season to date he yielded 18! 15 goals from a player on the wing is fantastic return no matter how many chance you say he "fluffed" LOL. You're embarrassing yourself with that comment dude. And why do you keep pulling up these random gif's of missed opportunities? We all know Hazard and Sterling can do better but what they are now are EXCEPTIONAL players who most teams would die for! Are you really trying to tell me you think Hazard goal return this season was poor? hahahahahaha I think we're done here its been fun.
-
Would love to see that list you come up with... just for shits and giggles of course.
-
What I want is balance down both flanks. If you put Hazard's trickery, pace and guile on the right in the form of Sterling it opens up a TON of space in the middle of the pitch for our other players. Sterling is English too and as Skipper said he's one of the best players in the Prem at 20! Sky is the limit for him...
-
Those are your needs not necessarily the team needs. And correct me if I'm wrong but didn't Hazard score 19 goals last year?
-
Perhaps thats a good thing for us?
-
City have bid it was turned down. I have turned my attention away from Pogba for now and its firmly placed on Sterling! He would be a much better signing for our club than Turan, Griezmann, Reus... My opinion but if Sterling played in any other league but the Prem we would all be salivating over him right now.
-
That is absurd... the pace dribbling and technique Sterling has can decide matches. He's not the best finisher but what he is capable of in the build up is just below Hazard on our team. If we had a trio of Hazard, Willian and Sterling???? That is an unbelievable AM situation. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lQWvaiaWssw

Lol and I guess John Barnes, England great and Liverpool legend is also someone who you should stop reading about too.

Your progress doesn't stall when you get 1000mins. Zouma got 604 and everyone thinks he's ready to displace Cahill. If he gets 1000 mins(about the same mins as Luis got) and performs well he will get more. At 21 that is A LOT of mins on a club trying to win everything.
-
He'll get Luis' minutes if he does well he'll get more. its hardly a waste of a career if he sits on the bench for a year or two.
-
This is sounding more and more like a done deal. I like the fact he has such a good rapport with the other players on the squad (Courtois, Costa, Falcao, Luis?) won't take him long to fit right in with the squad.
-
Really? care to elaborate? he's going to learn from the best, play on the biggest stage in the best league, if he doesn't make it he goes to another club to kick on his career.
-
If we get Pogba you'll see it!
-
Drogba had Cesc and Hazard providing bullets... You should look at the numbers from the service providers at Utd... Piss poor as was most of their build up. Nobody gets signed because their agent says so, that is probably the stupidest thing someone can say about a loan deal.
-
If he scores early look out!
-
That will never happen I for one am quietly optimistic about what Jose can do with our newly acquired third striker.
-
It clearly does something for you or you wouldn't be here to comment.
-
Of course he knows what he's doing! Its a season long loan of a guy who is a couple season removed from being one of the most feared strikers on the planet. When he was at Atleti he and Diego Costa formed a very good partnership and that can't be underestimated. We have a third striker who can now come on and knows the tendencies of our first. Its his last chance to make an impact at a big club and I for one think he will relish it.
-
FALCAO THO!
-
How about we just give the guys we have like cuadrado a chance to bed into the team before we go looking for a replacement?
-
It's not about that at all. Azpilicueta is still our lb Rahman is cover. Very good cover who can grow and become and excellent starter. Luis has 1-2 good years left in him
-
Barca are the clear favourites but this is the latest. Juve director Marotta:"Barca offered us 80 million for Pogba but we don't want to sell him" £56m
