If Rafa had the squad he might take it seriously. Since, Chelsea do not have enough players, then PL should be his priority. He was already told about it by the board. Sorry, FA maybe next year.

One thing I am afraid of. If no players are coming in, Rafa is just gonna play the starters & drains every ounce of energy out of them. After all, he wants to win some Cup so it looks good on his CV when he leaves Chelsea.

Well, as they say: Roman have mercy on Chelsea. We have only 5 days left & counting. Meanwhile, Chelsea board & ownership have decided to recall none of 23 players or so on loan. In fact they added Piazon & were actually contemplating sending out Marin. Perhaps, Hazards suspension should have halted that idiotic thinking. Once EL reopens no coach whether Jose, Pep or whoever can manage a squad so thin & compete. If I were Rafa, I would field a team of youth players & hope they get bounce out asap.

Perhaps, you should find 5 minutes & look through the current squad, injuries, players in Africa, good luck.

To say, Rafa has any say in to recall Essien is just plain clueless. Rafa was hired to see the squad through until the end of this season. The board is there to see what the team needs. Are they so blind & not see that the current team lacks players ?

The excitement of the game for many fans in London might be well justified but from other point of view Chelsea needs to win PL games instead.

Chelsea lack physical presence. Current team cost around 290m but there is hardly any decent player on the bench who could come in & really help the team. In tomorrow´s game I would love to see Mata, Oscar, Ramires, BA, Lampard, & even others being rested. I do not care who plays tomorrow, players must be rested, I feel.

To be charges for violent conduct by FA is not a trivial matter, I feel. I hate to say this but be prepared to see Hazard banned for 6 - 8 games.
