He had all the time in world and only Cech infront and he missed whole goal! I dont blame striker when the gk makes save, but Morata misses whole target or the shot is soo poor.
-
It was known he is not finest finisher and back someone at Real said he gets confidence issues when one on one, but just saw Morata scored 4 goals out of 40 attempts. Thats absolutely awful for top striker. Every quality striker is around 30% successful with their feet, Morata only 10%. These chances have to be burried or we will lose against every better opponent because it absolutely kills the drive when you see attackers miss chance after chance. And opponents obviously smell that lack of confidence in opposition too. Otherwise fantastic game but if we dont score, Arsenal definately will.

Well Cesc is 30 and Azpi will be 29 in summer. But I agree with the rest
-
IMO he could be one of those players who are realy efficient when you need them. Leader on the pitch. He had some motivational issues in the start of season, but realy improved under Jupp. He still has enough energy for PL and being good friends with Conte, he would adopt quickly to this team. He just screams Ballack/Makelele type of signing who can give us alot for couple years, but I think there are very slim chances Bayern sells him.
-
Wow he is going to be 27 in five days. Time flies so fast😬

Ronaldo and Messi completely ruined balon dor competition. Its all about goals now. Or I should say the media and "fans" who dont see beyond goals. Ronaldinho wasnt great goalscorer but he is among the best ever. Eden could score 10 per season, as long he plays the way he plays now, he is one of finest players out there. But media and "fans" wont see it unless he bangs 30 every season or joins real/barca.

If our defence turns out to what is expected, I dont mind him at pool. Better there than city for sure. But if we get problems in defence, we just missed on quality solution. Either way not sure what people are about. Yes the fee is absolutely ridiculous, but he is fantastic CB.

I think Conte is great manager in his pragmatic way. There is no way Pep could make Moses and Alonso this good IMO, better say he wouldnt even try. We saw how poor he was with Zabaleta, Sagna and Kolarov who I think would be quite better under Conte. City has plenty of talent, and its easier for them to play nice football, but I would still stick to my point regarding Sanchez. Yes last year we were in better position, but IMO performance wise, City shown some serious potential, example being in both games we played, they were better team, but we won in the end. I myself am happy we play for win in the end (and not care about how); IMO Pep will struggle there against top teams in CL because he cant adopt. But still Pep makes more of players in attacking sense IMO. He just gives them more freedom and plays that football that allows them to shine. Conte could easily throw one more attacking player in lineup (Pedro for example) but he doesnt do it. Last year we played 3:4:3 and IMO better football than this season. 3:5:2 shown some possibilites, but then we only have Eden instead of Eden and Pedro/Willian/...Fabregas is creative, but we still lack dynamic uptop. I think its realy simple to say Sancez would be better at City than here, I had same opinion before this season when we were officialy still the better team. City plays all out attack and 90% of attackers will thrive there better than in our pragmatic style. But that wont guarantee victory for them anyhow. Therefore I think while Sanchez is good, I dont care if he ends up in city, we shouldnt target him just to get him. There are better players out there that will fit us better and be here for longer time. What neither can deny though, with Pep or not, City has some long term players there and squad for next 5 years. We have players needing replacing who were brought not long ago like Alonso, half of our first 11 still needs upgrade. We have to start with long term solutions, Alexis is not one.

Yes Im calling him exactly that. He can be world class player, but he is a cunt that doesnt play when he decides so. He gets paid shitload of cash and doesnt deliver what is expected from him because he wants out. It was his choice to play for arsenal, he is still paid, do your job. Simple. We can get sentimental, but dude earns 200k a week and even if he has personal desire to be elsewhere, its his damn job to play to his best on pitch. But he doesnt give a shit anymore. Yes he brought Chile there. We are club, not his birth country. Many players work twice better for country. From own experience, watch Perisic for croatia or inter. We are club and I judge him his work at club. I dont want some spoiled brat who waves with hands and stops running when his team goes behind. I want someone who motivates his team to get back and fight. I should put smiley or something that would make my Willian statement sarcastic which was meant to be. Obviously he wouldnt make Willian world class, but I tried to make simple example that Pep would get much more from attacking player than Conte or Chelsea as whole, hence I brought our worst player in decision making as example. Sanchez might be allright here, but probably world class in city. Just because he would be there, I wouldnt regret not signign him, because he wont reach those highs here. He is 29? now and there are other players I rather pursue who can be here longer and actualy make sort of legacy and give a shit about the club and fight for it, rather than someone coming for paycheck and trophies and abandon ship the second we dont do well. I hope it explains it now.

I dont mind his poor technique that much as I miss his drive and determination. His looks like one big beast on pitch but doesnt act like one one bit. He goes softly in challenges or makes fouls and when he gets chance to shoot on goal, it gets him by surprise and it turns into scared attempt on goal. Morata is kind of same, always falling down and missing easy sitters. Im not criticising them much, but hell they should man the hell up. We desperately need alpha men in this team.
-
I wouldnt go for Sancez. Said it last year and he is just proving it this year. Spineless player. Yeah Guardiola will turn him into world beater, but he would probably do it with Willian too. Here he will be alright at best. There are many options available who would fit us much much better and are younger. Wouldnt say no to Vidal though.
-
I have feeling Kane will end up in City...they will pay 200m for him if necessary once Aguero leaves...
-
Apparently fake story...but IMO for Dembele it would be fantastic move for further development.
-
Yes I absolutely agree we need reinforcements. My only point was that against parked bus sometimes you can have best players in the world, if its not going in its not going. Meanwhile for games where oppo presses us, more quality players would improve us great time.
-
Some "fear" City improvement but I welcome it. They raised the bar and it means we will have to improve big big time. Same for other teams. Overall it will make PL more quality and give us better chances in CL. Im sure we wouldnt be near as good in 2005 if it wasnt for how good United, Pool and Arsenal were qt that time. If this goes according to plan with top teams improving, City just launched start of english domination in CL in the coming years. PL was poor for last few years and you can see how massively our results in CL have dropped. League is getting back up. Competition will force us in becoming a better team, I hope the club understands that and will make it happen. Last summer we won title and I somehow get it we didnt improve the team that much. But if we dont do it next summer after seeing how far ahead City went, I will start worrying abit.
-
Even best teams like Real Barca Bayern sometimes struggle against parked opposition. You can have Ronaldo and Messi in same team, ball just wont go in goal. I think it was just one of those games against everton. I wouldnt call for heads and order new players so we can break such teams next time. Sam prepared them well and it worked for them. BUT wins against palace and whu should be achieved yet we lost. Those two I question because we should do much better. Palace outplayed us in midfield ffs. We need to be in control against these teams. I can survive we lose on one shot they make and we dominate the game, the ball just doesnt want in. But when we get spanked in midfield by bottom half teams regardless of result is one thing that needs immediate improvement.
-
I check whats new about Conte and I see last few pages of this Conte out shit. Unbelievable.
-
We attacked and attacked but without any real determination in finishing. You can smell a goal sometimes, its just gonna happen. I didnt feel that today despite we were attacking and attacking. We dont have killer finishing or players that can do it It was hard game and you always have these games every season, but we had too many of them and its not even january. I think another top striker wouldnt be bad move in january or summer despite Morata. But we need wingbacks, RW and midfield strenghtened too. It feels we did very little last summer in terms of improving. We bought new striker, new fullback, new midfielder but neither area feels any bit improved. Rudiger was good addition in defence, we have that sorted so at least we dont have to worry there. But other areas are still realy problematic.
-
Great if he went to bournemouth and actualy played there🤗 I like bournemouth alot and it would be great with Sterling going there. I have feeling Howe would teach him a thing or two.
-
He will be 27 next july so hardly a kid😁
-
If we are gambling on english midfielder I would pick Lewis Cook over Barkley any day. Lewis can become realy good player if he stays fit, but I was expecting him having better season so far.
-
If only I was in charge of Chelsea transfers

Where did I diasgree with what you wrote? I think we have same opinion, just differently worded. My key point is if the board was ready to sell Kdb and Salah (and if I saw potential in them, so should professional scouts). Kdb was showing immense ability already in Werder and I was screaming not to sell him at any price. If he wanted to leave, thats boards problem. We have so many problems with players wanting to leave nowdays its ridiculous. Its definately not only play time but also respect and trust. They just know we are toying with them and they will have to be incredibly great and lucky to get a chance, hard work wont be enough. Therefore if the decision to sell those two came, I would then expect our board to target and bring in quality players on those two positions (be it young talents or established players). Right now no one would complain about Salah or Kdb sale if we had equaly good or promising players here. But we dont. Thats the whole point. The club ambition is questionable. IF we sell Hazard, I have serious doubt we will replace him properly. Its probably impossible to replace Eden atm with current players available out there, but we wont come even close.
-
ONLY thing that matters here is Barca had Villa and Alba/Abidal instead of Ibra and Maxwell. We had Willian and Oscar instead of Salah and Kdb. Thats one big difference if you ask me. No one will miss Salah and Kdb if we brought top quality players instead. But we didnt. And it definately feels sour now that we dont have those two. No one regrets selling Lukaku because we had Costa and now Morata, so we replaced him greatly. With Kdb and Salah, they turned into fantastic players. The board was stupid first to let them go and secondly incapable to bring young(er) quality RW and AM to Chelsea.

Its only right he was benched if he disagreed with tactics, but to make final decision so quick that he has no future here is childlish. One thing is showing whos the boss and benching a player, something else is to be stubborn and decide you have no place here anymore because of that one disagreement. Luiz might want out now yes, but thats partly because the way we treat players. Same was with Costa and Matic after they recieved news of probably not being in first 11 anymore. Im sure not being in first 11 was not the main issue, but the handling of it. Matic even said he didnt feel important enough to the team. We had great players on bench in past, but we knew how to deal with them, how to make them feel important. Now its just one big pile of shit handling by the board. Im sure selling Matic and Costa was smart decision back then, but was it realy? We would definately have great use of them right now (IF we knew how to handle them and make them happy enough, matic and moreso Costa would hold no grudges like they do now). I understand certain player here and there simply has to leave, its best for all, but at Chelsea we have such cases every year. The problem is definately not only in players. We have become a factory, there is little love and trust for the players, from academy to seniors. You can see Essien, Cole, Riccy, Ballack,...speak incredibly highly of our club even today. Do you see that in newer generations? Matic went straight ahead he never played for better club than United when he joined them. We sell the players before they get that status, and we do that for bit more profit? Yes it benefits us so well doesnt it?...we were stacked years ago and made everyone happy. Nowdays we have absolute average bench because we cant keep players and even the likes of Willian consider leaving as soon they dont play for 3 games. And Luiz isnt just another CB. I think he is highly pivotal in dressing room and that cant be underestimated. Costa was too and many players mentioned that. It would be mistake selling him. Only decent reason would be to get lets say 30m for him and spend that ON ACTUAL FUCKIN QUALITY PLAYER. But it will be just another Matic for Drinkwater 35m case. The club went to average in ambition, saying we are saving is just poor excuse.
