  1. Can't keep doing this every year. 2022 - Settled for Aubameyang. 2023 - Signed Jackson for cheap. The time has come to go for a weapon striker. Sesko is off the list so turn to Osimhen, David, Toney, Isak, Watkins, Gyokeres.
  2. City will fight to keep Alvarez. I think club needs to be careful about spending 70-80million on Alvarez, someone who has not shown yet he's able to play on his own up front.
  3. How? Makes sense imo. He's in a top 4 Bundesliga team. Another year at Leipzig means he plays regularly, plays CL. He's only 21 Teams like Chelsea, Arsenal, United might still be an option next year. Even bigger teams may come into the picture for him.
  4. Why are we prioritising a RW over an LW? Is it because of the market?
  5. Signed a long contract last year. Nothing to worry here.
  6. Went from fairly controlled games under Sarri to Lampard's basketball games
  7. Yup, paying 60-80m for Julian Alvarez when we have Nkunku, Palmer (and Carney) capable of playing behind the striker in the AM role is a waste of effort, resources. We need a different type of striker who can play on his own up front.
  8. They've been saying Madrid has been watching him for a while. Just like their scouts watched Bellingham
  9. Agree with this. He's a good player but won't break the bank for him considering its clear we have to do some accounting gymnastics to make our signings. We have Nkunku who's a similar forward too. Would prioritise a leading #9
  10. Would not be opposed to both Eze and Olise for Gallagher (if sold) and Sterling
  11. Was in favour of Maresca's decisions so far. But I agree with this. Seems like a misstep. Only explanation I can think of is there's a fund crunch to go out and sign someone when there's 3 senior keepers on the books. Also the reason for free signing at CB
  12. any preference between Valles, Jorgenson and Marmadashvili?
  13. Not number 1 for me. He doesn't have the influence on the game as someone like Guardiola does. Look at Guardiola's students managing Arsenal, Chelsea, Bayern and Leverkusen. He's changed the modern game more than Ancelotti imo as successful as he has been in winning trophies.
  14. Carlo never let a CL final slip after Istanbul
  15. Farewell Poch. Will barely remember you were at the club
  16. Milan have been keen on Badiashile. There's a better market for him than Disasi.
  17. 5 is plenty in a 2 centre-back system and with Reece, Cucu and Alfie (if he stays) able to fill in.
  18. I agree. If he's the only CB signing, we have problems.
  19. As a replacement for Chalobah he looks good honestly.
  20. 2 years and he will rock up in the Indian Super League 🥳
  21. It must be. Former CIty youth player till 2020
  22. DiMarzio is saying that Chelsea haven’t followed up after one meeting with Osimhen’s agents. Wages and fee is the issue.
  23. I don’t think age is the concern. They’re signing a 26 year old CB it looks like
