  1. By the sweat of our brows, the strength of our backs, the courage of our hearts. Gentlemen, Hoist the Colours! - Pirates of the Caribbean - savvy
  2. Our scout Guy Hillion said that he has scouted Hazard a number of times and has given 100% positive report each time. Looks like he's a target allright but the club is stalling to look at cheaper alternatives i.e Adam Johnson, Willian etc
  3. this should be a night that we look back on 20 years later and say - "Damn, THAT was an awesome night" KTBFFH! Keep it together boys
  4. the scouting system is not useless or anything. scouts like guy hillion and piet de vissier(spell check) are good scouts. its the way the club go about the transfers. look at the kdb transfer, avb did not particularly want to sign kdb but was forced to because of "club policy". that is where we are getting it wrong. the manager should get free control over signing players. he will have the best idea on how to incorporate players in to the team.
  5. If a premier league club, say West Brom, offer a loan deal for Courtois, wouldn't it be better if he got some Premship experience (look at hart,)
  6. yeah but for the record - i did try that. no luck
  7. huh? what icon? anyway i decreased the line height in the code
  8. Here are more pics. Dont expect "Steve" quality
  9. Biggest game in 2 years. Keep your heads boys. KTBFFH!
  10. spare us your "this is not how football shud be played" speech. defending is criminally underrated. football is not just abt attacking. defenders are almost never given enough recognition. when has a defender won the world pplayer of the year award? (except Cannavaro - Who wouldn't win it if Italy hadn't won the WC - there have been NONE) Chelsea executed their gameplan well and given how good barca are sittin back and countering is the only way to play them.
  11. anybody know our record with this kit?
  12. yeah. QPR may not even be in the Premier League to be considered
  13. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/1022376/chelsea-goalkeeper-thibaut-courtois-hopes-for-premier-league-loan?cc=4716 and quite frankly i agree with him. in spain, its mainly shot-stopping but here he will get to deal with teams like stoke city, norwich who play a physical game. also he will get the confidence to play no.1 for chelsea. that was missing in de gea's case. another loan to atletico wouldn't be bad but a premship loan would be a gold mine of a learning curve
  14. i gotta admit, camp nou is set in a stunning backdrop
  15. first of all,Tomo-91 - But i donot agree with KDB, Bruma and Courtois. KDB should definitely stay here. his passing and vision is top drawer and he could be the next damien duff. Bruma could provide decent cover to our defence because quite frankly, we have only 3 proper CB's right now. Bruma should be in the squad and maybe Chalobah should get a loan deal for experience. Bruma or Kalas or maybe even both should be retained because our defence is stretched as it is. no need of going out and buyin a CB then. As for Courtois - Cech is good enough for now but Courtois needs to go out on loan in England, not back to Atletico. There were reports that Chelsea were looking to loan him out to an English club (West Brom, Qpr were interested) and I think he could have a season like Hart had at Birmingham that really puts him on the map in england
  16. i would take a prostate exam from wolverine bbt
  17. nah. the gaps between each line of his chelsea career part donot appear in the after chelsea part
  18. The Daily Fail and the Independent among others are reporting that Drogba is fit to face Barca tomorrow
  19. I am havin problems with the font in the Makelele entry. the spaces in the chelsea career part?
  20. waste of time really. i was thinking of using it on the tcs logo but that is too small..still class though
