  1. So, Torres starts in the Champions League and Eto'o in the Premier League now?
  2. with van Ginkel gone, midfield looks thin. Lampard-Mikel is an awful pivot. Ramires needs to start almost all games. Need that energy in midfield
  3. Must win game really. Maybe not if we'd made a better start but team really needs to start clicking now
  4. How unfair is life. I think this is it for his 2014 WC dreams
  5. try and avoid putting up result for Spurs game if possible
  6. Chelsea start their League Cup campaign in the 2013-14 season with a third-round trip to League One team Swindon Town. Saturday's 2-0 win over Fulham stopped a 4-game winless streak after draws against United and Bayern were followed by losses to Everton and Basel. Manager Mourinho blamed the club's indifferent start to the season on a change in philosophy but proceeded to mock Chelsea's critics after the win over Fulham which temporarily put Chelsea top of the table. With a tough away fixture against Tottenham coming up, Chelsea will look to gain some much-needed momentum from this game Opposition Swindon Town have had a mixed start to the League One campaign. They currently occupy 11th place having taken 11 points from the 8 games following the 3-2 win over Bristol City on Saturday. Manager Mark Cooper, who took over from Kevin MacDonald last month, is excited to pit his wits against Jose Mourinho on Tuesday night. "It's another fantastic test for the players. It's great for the club and I'm sure it will be a full house. It will be all about the players and the club and the fans" "We will prepare the best we can but we'll have to play against some of the best players in the world" Last Meeting Chelsea will be hoping for a repeat of the last time they met Swindon, when goals from Gavin Peacock and Dennis Wise handed them a 2-0 win in the Premier League in 1994. Team News While Mourinho may not field a full-strength team, Swindon will not be encouraged by news that Juan Mata and David Luiz will start for Chelsea on Tuesday. 7. Hilario's debut was the real deal though. Cleansheet vs Barcelona. saved Ronaldinho freekick
  8. the fact that defensive contribution is so important in a CAM tells you that players in other positions are not doing their job well
  9. Schwarzer Azpi Ivan Luiz Bertrand Essien MvG KDB------ Mata----- Willian Torres
  10. It's incredible how the atmosphere around the club changed with 1 win over Fulham.
  11. Mikel has scored before any of the strikers have scored in the Premier League
  12. This. I agree with but Mata is the better playmaker than Oscar. Not even close for me. Final-ball wise, Mata is better. With a balanced midfield, I'd take Mata over Oscar.
  13. I disagree. He had a good game vs Bayern too, Only time he wasn't effective was against Villa and in the last few mins against Everton. Otherwise he's had a good start to the season. "Fantastic" maybe overstating a bit but he hasn't been as bad as you're making it out to be
  14. I think this talk of Oscar contributing more defensively should only be a factor against energetic sides like Dortmund where players have to fall back quickly after an attack. against your average pub teams - Mata definitely. Far better in playing the final ball
  15. Need a win tomorrow. Get back on track. I'll take a scrappy one-nil win with a deflected own goal.
  16. just poking fun, mate. We know the staff do their job. impossible to cater to everyone's needs though
  17. Frustrating. Should snap out of this blip soon Ashley Cole needs a rest
  18. haha. Indians are everywhere man!We basically invented sex
