  1. Is he good with the ball at his feet?
  2. Even Newcastle winning a cup after a while was pretty cool
  3. Why didn’t they get a competent striker ? Lots to be addressed in the summer but having CL makes a huge difference. Need to put Forest away next week
  4. A day like this is especially great because of how much Reece James gets abused on here for his injuries.
  5. The lack of a backup for Fofana and Nico is all the club's own doing.
  6. Spurs have a second XI but they're playing well so far
  7. Full strength XI is nuts Spurs have rotated almost the whole XI
  8. One day he could be manager here. Leverkusen would be a big step up from Como but I'd be watching Cesc's managerial career with interest
  9. English kid who was at Oxford United
  10. Huijsen off the market. He's good but I hope this means we sign a 23-28 year old defender in his prime
  11. I think they would. Eze seems like he can make the jump up right now and has just 2 years left on his contract too
  12. Pep seems to have prioritized Wirtz and Morgan Gibbs-White
  13. Spurs have beaten United thrice in the season and have their CBs Romero and Van de Ven back fit. United are not favorites for me.
  14. Provided we get a quality striker in his prime
  15. We were a few signings away last summer and the board has a summer where they spend £200million +, make 11 signings and only Neto has had any effect on our team. Felix, Sancho, KDH, Jorgensen, Tosin, Guiu, Kellyman, Anselmino, Veiga, Wiley is a complete waste of a summer Even if we had just signed a CF who could fill in for Jackson, we'd have locked up top 4 by now
  16. Even if he's considered a flop at Arsenal, he had a good win % and reached a Europa League final with that squad. His English was not good so you'll see a lot of Arsenal players from that era - even Saka say that Freddie Ljungberg was translating what Emery was telling the players. His English has gotten much better now. In the five years since his Arsenal gig, he's had excellent seasons with Villarreal and Aston Villa.
  17. I wouldn't be opposed to the idea of going for Eze or Rogers. We need a player to take the creative burden off Palmer - Managers are getting a defender to man-mark Palmer and that's derailing our game- Dan Burn was following Palmer around in the weekend and the team became ineffective for it.
  18. I'd be happy to move on from Maresca if we can convince Emery But otherwise I'm not in favor of re-starting the team building process.
  19. I don't share this view. He's already getting 10+ goals without service in an Ipswich team, has the aggression, work ethic needed to play up front. I think he's a good striker. I'm willing to take the bet that Delap will comfortably score 10+ barring injury problems
  20. Sign a new RB who can actually play the inverted role. Reece is going to be around as backup at best.
  21. Completely changes our CB plans. Huijsen was the one CB with a reasonable fee I would have loved signing. Ornstein named these 5 players last month and I am not sure I'd love any of them honestly
