  1. Happy for Kante for this payday. Hope he and his family enjoy Saudi. Came in and transformed the club from Day 1. His Duracell bunny energy is the key reason for the 16-17 league win and 20-21 CL win.
  2. Even the Kovacic news has cooled down
  3. Gabri Veiga - says Guardian. Reasonable release fee
  4. Talk of unrest in Milan after Maldini departure. Leao (who signed a new deal), Theo and Maignan among those unhappy
  5. I get that. Was looking at the break even fees for all players But I am saying the fee is too less even considering that. Havertz is 23. No matter how much he is derided here at Chelsea, a club like Real Madrid is identifying him as the player to replace Benzema. He still has 2 years left on his deal. 60 m euros is a ridiculous fee imo. We should be holding out for an outright profit
  6. Who says we are making a profit? German media is reporting a 15-20m loss
  7. I know Ziyech transfer is popular narrative but i think they're just flexing the cash freed up by Messi leaving
  8. Would rather keep him at this price. He is worth more than the transfer fee paid in 2020
  9. The market's becoming thin in the next month - Ugarte, Rice, Caicedo, MacAllister, Kone will all be off.
  10. Have to admit - Smart from Liverpool rebuilding their midfield with two signings for ~80m.
  11. I don't think he's wanted by any of the PL clubs right now? Liverpool are prioritising MacAllister and Manu Kone - both on cheaper deals. Arsenal are prioritising Declan Rice deal after the Conference League final. I know they had a deal in January but would they add 2 midfielders for over 100 mil? United are doing the Mount negotiation and need a striker. City are stocked and are adding Kovacic.
  12. Would destroy the already fucked wage structure at the club. We can't turn back the clock and go to June 2022. We should have realistic valuations. This seems to be a case where we were the preferred option over PSG too
  13. Liverpool and Arsenal are in the same market for a DM.
  14. Seems like its the smarter play to walk away? I think club simply can't afford to match PSG wages.
  15. All I ask for is one normal day with this club.
  16. It’s the right call even if it stings. PSG have crazy money now that Messi wages are off the books. No point getting into a contest with them.
  17. The winning goal vs Newcastle from a Jorgi pass. Heavenly touch and finish. Thought his close control and touch would have helped him be comfortably better than the other attackers bought alongside him - Werner, Pulisic, Ziyech. But aside from the CL knockout run, it is tough to pick out another month he consistently played well.
  18. A very talented player on the ball but seems to go missing in big games, a bit slow and weak to be in an elite club midfield every week.
  19. I would say since Morata to Atleti for 58m in 2019.
  20. I don’t think so. The early sounds from the board is they want Havertz and Ancelotti wants Kane I don’t think a club like Madrid will consider Lukaku even on loan.
  21. Not calling it yet. So far we have the Portuguese Daily Mail saying its done
